Looks like any generic futuristic suit from any movie / game from the past 15 or so years. I mean they have one of the coolest and most iconic suits of all time to work with and that's what they come up with? Pathetic.

This is a remake not an original concept, and as a remake it doesn't do much in staying true to it's heritage, in fact far from it. It looks like shit and as a fan of the series, I'm offended. So I'll hate because I think I have a right to!
WTF overall the series is shit. The first movie is the only great film. The second is alright. Everything else including the comics are complete utter shit.
Also, when you remake or adapt something you're supposed to be more concerned with your vision than the original's. There is a whole (and very important) theory in film that says just this.

A lot of people think Transformers as a series is shit I'm a fan of that too. I don't care about the comics, never read them but I loved the movies as a kid. This is obviously subject to opinion so don't 'wtf' me.
It's a remake, it's still inspired by the original source material, the most important aspects of the film should remain intact otherwise you're better off making an entierely new film with a new title.
No one here can look at that suit and say this is the Robocop they should have made in the first place. If the remake fails to even give off the impression it's a successor it's not a remake, it's a product of money making peice of shit. Doubt anyone sat in there living room one day and said why haven't they remade Robocop, most people don't even remember the film.

You and I share this unpopular opinion. Ideally we wouldn't even be talking about this stuff, but Hollywood went ahead anyways.

Well this is essentially what I was hoping for, I don't think it would be that reasonable to use the exact same design as the old one, but to completely replace it with something that looks like Batman's outfit takes a lot out of the essence of Robocop in my opinion. The only thing that might look similar here is the helmet, but that's not really worth mentioning.
Unless there are some special effects that are missing from that picture I think it needs work. I'll eat crow if this turns out to be special.

Slow motion martial arts with visor limb-targeting.
Aside from the obvious ugly-as-shit design choice they went with, the whole suit just looks ridiculously cheap. I know the same complaints were levied against Thor when production photos were leaking, but this looks like some shitty Halloween costume, especially the helmet. I hope they do some post-processing work to get it to at least look respectable, even if it's nothing like the original design.
