I'd settle for shitty Phantasy Star Portable-level graphics if it meant total parity with the PC versions. I was hoping it'd be completely seamless, but this level of fragmentation from the outset will probably carry over into things like updates and DLC.

I can't help but think of valkyria chronicles 1 --> 2 with the difference in the maps ><

Shit - just traded this game in with two other games, so it counted as a "3 games for bonus $10 deal" and therefore they only gave me $11 for it rather than $20 - had another game that I wanted to get rid of when I got home so I could have brought that and still gotten both deals...

(tl;dr - I missed out on a free 20 GameStop dollars)

I guess you could count Uno, lol. For some reasons PSP had an adaptation of the Battle Spirits card game but they were Monster Hunter clones rather than card game ...

Doesn't one of the Final Fantasy's have a card game or something included in it, that you can play with random people you encounter in the game?

Anyway, also enjoying the Uncharted one, it's pretty good, though an early lead can be pretty fatal quick.

These things are pretty easy to make by the way. I could imagine we make a NeoGaf one ourself using a tonne of NeoGaf tropes and weird card-style art from NeoGaf as well, from bitmap stuff to rough drawings etc. Could be pretty great. And we should probably make it pretty hardcore too, with lots of resources and special combinations (and then add an easy mode ). I bet I (or any other programmer here) could make an engine to drive those graphics in no-time. Send moves as persisted bits of xml or bin by email should be a breeze.

Man, one of my favorite RPGs back in the day, and I remember defending it from the haters on the RPG board on GameFAQS....I think just because I saw this post, I'm going to buy it for PSN.

This and Legend of Mana.
