Cyberpunk 2077 CGI teaser trailer

I really like the style. Haven't been following the development really, do we know if it's going to be something like Deus Ex or something more traditional?
I'm sure CDProjekt could easily knock out a CRPG with their insane graphics engine but seeing them take a jab at Deus Ex would be really interesting.

Shit music. Where's my wubwub? I though the future meant wubwub.

Also bullshit graphics. There's no way a game coming out in 2015, if we're lucky, will have graphics that good.

NEOGAF.

I fucking loved it. And Witcher 3 in Feb 5? Yes!

This post hurts to read.

How would you describe Cyberpunk 2077 for someone who doesn’t know too much about it? A person who never heard about the genre, didn’t watch Blade Runner or Ghost in the Shell etc.?

Cyberpunk 2077 will be an awesome game about a hero from the streets, from very dangerous streets. Raised from the gutter, he uses ultra-modern technology to stand against large corporations and others who exploit the underprivileged. The lonely rider takes his chopper, tech and the slaughter begins (laughter). Awesomeness in pure form with an engrossing, non-linear story – like an epic movie.

If it's like Mass Effect then you can have a female with the same story, so not all hope is lost.

Ditto, too many games with men who take steroids and die hard.

trailers like this are a sincere waste of time, just dont release shit if you havent got shit to show. Honestly, cgbullshotbullshit trailers for games just piss me off, its like "here is our game, get excited about it, heres a load of stuff that has nothing to do with your experience of the game, are you excited yet?" and the answer is always, no.

I think I recall reading a Cyberpunk novel many years ago. The native americans had reclaimed some land, I think. I may be confusing it with something else though.

If we can't play as her or as a female at the very least make her a romanceable option like Triss is, also so she can join your squad.

A cheesy CG trailer years before release? Oh goody goody gumdrops

I'm sure the game will be awesome but come oooonn

A lot of games do that. Hell, we got a trailer for Duke Nukem forever 12 years before release...
Borderland Trailer was like 3-4 years before release and looked nothing like the final product.

Judge Dredd as protagonist? Sold.
Nah she seem to be the protangonist with the first person view we got at the end. He seem to be a collegue. Also, I hope you can buy your own modification to get a your character like you want.

Nope, the last ones (8cores, 8gig and 8800 GPU...........)....... We are talking about rendering an entire game, not just a scripted scene with 10 buildings, 5 cops 1 flying car and a couple of cyborg lovers..... An oepn world?....................

Can you elaborate why this configuration can't render a next gen open world game?

The music I follow is timeless so... yeah It will be around.

I'll make a ban bet over it, we can check in 40 years just to make it more viable.

Timeless? Back in my days, we listened to this nice girl called Britney Spears. Now aday with your Bibooppodo and ultra sound whale techno country, you guys dont know what music is!

Can't think of an example, so that means I must love the song right? It hardly evokes anything Cyberpunk, and was ham-fisted with its lyrics at best.

Don't misjudge my criticism of the music though; I thoroughly enjoyed the visual content of the trailer. I am with Dennis; would love to play as the female who is struggling/coping with the loss of identity and gaining of power.

I'm not saying you have to like it. Just telling you it's highly unlikely that there would be music like this in the game.. oh and Deus Ex's cinematic had it's soundtrack in the trailer so I guess it's not rare.

Cops are good design IMO, just look at what the real life police/swat designs seem to be heading. The dark clothes and face covered makes them more intimidating, police seem to be more about controlling people rather than helping people.

To be fair, I think "swat" (or any equivalent force) should look goddamn intimidating. They get called in only when the shit is real, not when you had a traffic accident.

Awesome trailer, but I've learned the hard way to not trust anything but gameplay trailers. Did get my attention though.

And Cyberpunk is such a generic name, like MAG was.

The game features my favorite logo since Street Fighter II. Not kidding.

I ignored The Witcher games because wasn't interested even if I heard good feedback from people I trust. But I love the cyberpunk setting, that they did an awesome job with the artstyle and to see that the creator of the original pen and paper game is with them.

Can't wait to play it, but it sucks to wait until "when it's ready", at least 2015. But hey, I prefer them to take their time to make a great game instead of release a rushed game.

Regarding the idea of announcing it now, it's because they want to hire really talented people really passioned with the project. Somehting that I think it's georgeous and deserves praise. Watching the other videos of their youtube channel I see that they're really passionate about it and want to make a great game.

Talent + passion + hard work without rush limited by the budget is the best possible combination. As of now, I'll get it day one for my PS4.

Seeing how they handle Witcher 3 as an open world game will give good insight to how they're handling Cyberpunk.
