What I usually do is opening the link in a different tab. Like this the content doesn't display immeiatly and I can get a first idea by letting the mouse on te new taband eeing a thumbnail of it.
It's still not 100% safe, but it's better than nothing. It can be a life saver.
Yes, I am talking about that. I'm not a mod. I cannot tell you to do anything, but there has been a running theme lately where more risqué stuff is popping up in the thread. I don't really care if its links, but frankly these threads have become something I would be hesitant to view in any public capacity.

Well it's a good comedy but with a bad/inexistent scenario, so I preferred to warn people.
Shouta? Is Louie the Rune Soldier a good anime?

This was a good episode ...but to me this was also a disapointing episode.
First this episode marked the end of joker i loved that character because he basicly pushed this show up even in case where it wasn't good. Seeing him disapear like that was totally unsatisfying !
Second this episode had a nice theme to it . royal candy did his part and the going back from despair was correctly used .. my problem is while it was good it was quite inférior to what was proposed by the previous precure seasons.They did better than "suite" and "yes precure" but that's it . It was good but not great.
Third .. finally the princess form in action. finally instead of the same finisher over and over we see them do something else with that ... it's a shame since it's overpowered ( second to last episode , obvious result ) but i'm seeing the missed opportunity ... i guess it was hard to animate , maybe ? but not seeing the princess form fight earlier and upping the threat/damage from the ennemies would have made smile precure better IMO.
Still they do kick a lot of monster at least they go the power right.
Fourth the animation.. i don't know what happenned .one minute it's great , and a few seconds after it's horrible.. seriously ? there are several scenes where pierrot is talking yet no mouth is moving and at the start of this episode , some action scenes were clearly lacking in detail.
At this point i expect a flawless experience and this episode wasn't ..We are nowhere near smile 23 and we are galaxy appart from "heartcatch" and "splash star" finales. An uneven experience is not a good experience.
Fifth the episode itself.
I enjoyed the dual attacks and the inevitable comeback i did enjoy the darkness moment before it and i trully hope they use everything they can to put everything in the final episode first 10 minutes.
Conclusion :
A good episode , great episode even but nowhere close to the masterpieces that were made in the previous series ( original, splash star , fresh & heartcatch )

If it's seriously is an issue for you I'll do my best to hold back on my fake yuri screencaps and link them instead. But when the real yuri happens I will flaunt that shit.

Don't expect the fight in the last episode to be more than 10 minutes.
If it's 10 minutes of glorious sakuga I will accept that, half of HeartCatch 48 was talky talky stuff anyway.

and that's why i tell people to watch splash star ...just action , (almost ) no talking , for 2 and a half episode !
Glorious finale .. very very hard to surpass IMO

Talking is good. I don't get anime fans and their hate of talking. It's like most fans have the attention span of Yui from K-ON. Now what's important when you do go down that path though is to try and keep the dialogue interesting from both a presentation and writting standpoint which a lot of anime fall flat on their face in doing. Then you also have stuff like Fate/Zero 01 though which is hated for the talking, but is actually very very well done and actually interesting.

Too much action or too much words.gif isn't necessarily a good thing either. Heartcatch 48 achieves a near perfect balance of both elements, culminating in the six minute fight scene I linked before in this thread.
But Fate Zero Ep1 wasn't.

Errr, I hope you didn't interpret my post as implying HeartCatch 48 was anything other than one of the best final episodes in a magical girl series. I was saying it could be a good thing if the next ep of Smile was half talk half action!

So it's summer. Which means it's fucking hot out. The girls spend the entire episode trying to figure out how to keep cool or distract themselves from the heat. First Ritsu and Yui pretend they're in the Arctic. Then Ritsu tells a ghost story to scare Mio, even though it was the worst ghost story ever. The twist was worse than the twist to Bender's ghost story in Futurama. The Windows logo is scarier than Sawako teaching a student piano.
Then Mio remembers there was a fan in the closet. Ritsu turns it up too high and breaks it/almost kills everybody. Then came the dumbest part of the episode. Mugi remembers, "Oh yeah, I have a a chest full of fucking ice." How do you forget something like that when you're trying to stay cool? Then Ritsu and Yui ruin everything (surprise, surprise) by spilling it while soaking their feet in it. At least they made it so that nobody would want to use it by putting their feet in it.
Then they practice campaigning for the SC to give them an AC for the music room. Only for Ritsu to ask for one and face no objection. Better to be prepared I guess. Then Yui remembers that she's allergic to AC (is that a real thing?). I was actually thinking about that through the episode. Good to see the show remember that.
