You know what they should have done was a combo pack of Recelations With Mercenaries 3D.
That would be worth 50 in my book.

Yeah, Deadly Silence was a completely out-of-nowhere announcement, and was released soon after it was announced. Truly, a port that no one was asking for!
Ammo takes no slots? I dont know if I love or hate that. You could carry alot of ammo in RE5M but in RE6 it's horrible + enemies don't drop anything but ammo or skill points. It actually features some big changes, such as a vastly streamlined inventory system (ammo no longer takes up slots) and an EX difficulty that is essentially Mercenaries Turbo.
Yes, and this is why it's so good. (co-op) Mercenaries was the best thing that came out of RE5
I would be surprised if the game supports Vita remote play, but i think it sounds like a cool idea at leastI bet the PS3 version will have remote play, either on day 1 or patched on a future date. That should cover us wretched Vita owners.
There is a limit to the ammo that you can carry, but the ammo is tied to the weapon itself, which is what takes up a slot. You have five slots for a character; up to three of them are taken up by the character's weapon loadout (which is fixed, but you can mix and match character loadouts, including a bonus one that isn't associated with any of them), another one for herbs, and the last one is the explosive slot, which changes from stage to stage. There is basically no inventory management to speak of, so it keeps the pace quick. Another change I forgot to mention is that there are no pick up animations, so you can run right over ammo or herbs, pick them up, and not have to come to a halt.Ammo takes no slots? RE0 and REmake both managed to ship more than a million for the GC though. The Nintendo home console audience likes them some good old Resident Evil. Don't know about the Dreamcast, but lets not forget that those were cheaper times as well.

It was actually pretty nice though, loved having the ability to skip the door cutscenes, made playthroughs a breeze.
Looks like they just posted it on the PS Blog.
PS Blog: Resident Evil Revelations Creeps to PS3 May 21 with New Features
Probably won't pick up til it gets a price drop. Haven't even grabbed RE6 yet.
Mike Luan said:Hey Stargazr, when we were developing Revelations for new platforms we really wanted to hone in on the experience you get with a large format screen, surround sound, etc. This type of setup really helps players get sucked into the horror vibe and enjoy the game to its fullest extent.
5. 3DS and PS-vita infrastructure let alone developing games for them are extremely different beasts. Even just the screens as you mention are completely different resolutions/functions. Take a look at the top comment for my full Vita response.
Not so much selective as it is I’ve answered a lot of them already I completely understand the flux of Vita inquiries (I’m a happy Vita owner myself), but please see the 1st comment for my full response.
will have more info/gameplay pretty soon, can't promise anything of course, but we're listeningInteresting, they didn't shut down potential MOVE support.
From the PS Blog, Capcom's product manager gives the official "explanation" as to the absence of a Vita version:
Reminds me a bit of KojiPro and Crystal Dynamics' nonsensical excuses for their games not coming to Wii U, probably because the actual reason (they don't believe it would sell enough to justify porting costs) is more or less the same.

here as well if you guys have questions/etcSeems that Capcom's CM replies some questions about the game in the PS blog comments (supposed reasons of why no Vita port, no 3D support, Move supports not sure, control scheme to be decided, tweaked assets and textures, etc) :

I honestly thought Wii U would have gotten an RE6 port with Revelation HD edition as a bonus....
Cool, thanks ^_^here as well if you guys have questions/etc

Not so much a question, but I just wanted to say that if Mercenaries 3D got this treatment too,, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

will re 6 be inculded for wiiu? Or will re6 comeout on wiiu?here as well if you guys have questions/etc
It's in-between. You have a partner but they're not much of a help nor a hindrance, so it's kind of like being alone. And there are parts where you are separated.Glad I did hold off on the 3DS game. I will now play this baby on my sweet sweet TV!
Isn't this one still on the RE4 model than RE5?
I don't want RE5-6 forced coop.
Might play this down the line.
