Bayonetta 2 development video

Yeah but the Jeanne fight in Bayonetta is arguably one of if not the best fights in an action brawler ever. It's pretty much perfect.

My literal only problem with the Jeanne fight is you can't just skip to it, you need to do the Space Harrier level first.

If they made it its own level, there would be nothing at all wrong with it.

So much this.

I mean, in the end, if they really want to put in the vehicle sections, the only thing I would ask for is for them to be their own levels. It would at least make the notion of having a mission/level select option more worthwhile.

I feel like I'm the only one who loved that Space Harrier part. It's so much fun!

That looks like the beasts that Bayonetta summons herself... not an actual enemy/boss in the game.

I dunno. It looks more..."fleshy" to me than something created out of hair. But then, it's a very short shot, so anything is possible.

Either way, I am excited. I need this in my life. Now.

It looks different than the demons Bayonetta summons herself, though. It has an actual body made out of skin and flesh rather than hair and is rather slimy, plus there's a human-like head wearing a crown between its eyes.

First time I played that I got up and walked away half way in. It was too much for my system

If they can deliver on
Jeanne 4/Farther Balder/Jubileus
madness for a whole game, this could be my game of the forever

Iwata: How do you do Mr Kamiya?
Kamiya: REPEAT: AS I SAID 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 TIMES, CHECK MY LOG BEFORE ASKING SOMETHING.

It definitely is Bayonetta's summon. Think it's Gomorrah. It appears slimy because of the rain.

Iwata: When will you reveal more details about it?

Kamiya: Next week, in game magazines....

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
All the footage they've shown so far, including all but one wire frame, has been cut to deliberately obscure her upper half. Maybe it's not Bayonetta at all.

Yea, not really a fan of that new design for Bayonetta's leggings/clothing.

If they actually fixed her proportions....

Maybe is still Bayonetta but she lost her hair powers? That will be an important part of the story and may affect her looks.

Can't wait for this game. I thought Bayonetta 1 had the best mechanics of any 3D action game (Ninja Gaiden Black comes close though).

Looked up an image and yeah, it is him. Never noticed the human head before. But why does he have arms and a body now? Maybe we actually fight some old demons?

The arms are what confused me, but yeah, it definitely does appear to be him/her/...it? Even still, it still looks "chunkier" than the summon used in Bayonetta. Maybe it got an upgrade? I still think it might have to do with the sequel dealing more with demons than angels. It would give the game a darker tone to work with.

I need to see a full-scale trailer of this. I'm going crazy analyzing the same content over and over again. It makes me want to go back and complete Bayonetta again. >_<

or maybe it's an uber version of a summon.
in the files in bayo 1 is imply that what we summon of gomorrah is just a part of the entire demon.

maybe this time we are gonna be able to summon the enire beast and in his "real form" 8the one made of flesh and not hair.

or maybe we are gonna kill our very summons of the first game, going against both angels and demons..in fact bayo tstill has the little problem about his souls being promised to eternal damnation if she dies.

Probably. I mean they do exist and the crown design means, they look a bit like their Angel counterparts. Will be cool if Bayo has to fight the summons as hidden bosses or something.

Also is she using Double whips on her legs? :O

This was seriously the single best video game encounter and battle of the generation right there. The presentation was nuts, the fight was intense and every second escalated things in a way I am both amazed at the creativity of and surprisingly astounded me as to how it had never been attempted before.

she also has some blades sticked to their ankles in the shot before the double whip one.probably this time ain't gonna be limitations in what weapons you can equip both on hand and feet

They better not. I love how awkward and gangly looking she is.

I hope not. I liked the Bayonetta wasn't a Dead or Alive super model, I love her looks.

Heck I remember playing Bayonetta and my sister walked into the room, she looks at her and says " Holy Shit! that bitch is tall". Bayonetta is awesome.
