I don't think this stuff is legit, it's weird. I wouldn't make a big deal bout it until something gets announced.

http://cdr.xpaw.ru check the apps page and look at all this stuff. It is taking the stuff that is usually unmarked and giving it names. I just can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading. (Halo: CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3????)

Kipp

but I am taking tiny steps forward
Anyone doing a Showdown Effect Deluxe 4 pack?

Oh! I totally forgot about that game! I just refreshed my memory by watching TotalBiscuit's video and reading the Steam description and it looks fantastic! It also comes out on my birthday. Haha. And with the game being $7.50 with the 4-pack, I might be willing to actually pay the launch price for it rather than waiting for the sale...

That is very weird with Halo.Taking this with a huge grain of salt.

Some of the stuff is definitely legit.

For example:
226600 Unknown ValveTestApp226600 (Octodad: Dadliest Catch Beta) 6 hours ago February 3, 2013 @ 12:34:22 UTC

So he's turned ValveTestApp226600 into Octodad Dadliest Catch Beta, so we click through the link:
http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/225140/

Under "Admin Comment":
Admin Comment Steam Hub Name:
228644c08ff24439d54f40b19d746fd67eb0e498.jpg
Octodad: Dadliest Catch Beta

Open the image there, which is clearly from Octodad, and you get:
http://media.steampowered.com/steam.../228644c08ff24439d54f40b19d746fd67eb0e498.jpg

Which is hosted on Steam.

Or take Halo 3
http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/216800/

You can actually click through to see the Steam community hub for the game:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/216800/
Steam Community: Halo 3

So unless they're making community hubs for non-Steam content, something is clearly going on.

I'll add that MS just put out a job posting for a producer at MGS and one of the job responsibilities was to evaluate and execute release strategies for alternate markets (example: STEAM)... and with CAPCOM giving up GFWL... and with the fact that MS owns Twisted Pixel and announced a PC port for (Ms.) Splosion Man and one of these new game hubs is for Lococycle (Twisted Pixel's next game)...

Fez was added to the reg. Super House of Dead Ninjas [AS] as well.

edit: Lets wait and see if it's legit.

(Steam Wallet Trading) oh yes. this looks legit enough :)

So, what is your conclusion?

Oh snaps. Either this stuff is super legit or Valve has turned into super trolls. Either way, I like it.

Halo 3 on PC? And on Steam? I'll believe it the day its installed on my PC and I'm playing it. They wont even put the old Halo games or Gears of War on Steam.

In other news, today's Daily is 75% off Super Meat Boy ($3.75).

The Dailies have been so boring lately. I can feel my lifeforce fading away.

Fish all but confirmed a PC release in the New Year.

Ah, nice.

I spotted LibreOffice. And, yes, damn, Halo 1-2-3. On Steam?

Ok, first things first: remember the Amazon guy finally got that Microsoft Arcade Bundle approved so, who knows, right? Maybe it ends up being true. Still... Skepticism!

Uh, Angry Birds is in there too. Peter Jackson's King Kong. Anomaly Warzone Earth 2.

Well, god dammit, people, I'll spend the entire afternoon scanning this now! D:
