I have a feeling they're definitely retooling stuff like this. Hell, what if they're making more Rayman specific levels? How shitty is it that I can actually see the 360/ps3 having 'exclusive' rayman levels over the wii u one?
I recall the first one having a terrible release date that got it lost in the shuffle. Just like this will, now.

So, yeah, that marquee, exclusive title Nintendo paired with the Wii U retail demo kiosks...it's now slated to be available on the full gamut of platforms, and to add insult to injury, Ubisoft will probably label the 360 SKU of the game as the "lead" platform.

So, just in the last few weeks, we've had confirmation Resident Evil: Revelations, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Rayman Legends, and a claim that Castlevania: Mirror of Fate will all be going to other platforms.

This was always coming to other platforms and it was silly that they acted like it wasn't but delaying the Wii U version is insanity. I was ready for a release day 60 dollar purchase on this but taking it to September will mean saving money for next gen and holding out for Black Friday.

Its not just that, its the TV advert or mag advert or ANY advert having to be run in February and then September to sell copies with just different logos at the bottom. Why piss twice when you can just piss once?
Console is going the Gamecube route quicker than even I anticipated. Third parties are bailing out completely, and unless Nintendo has moneyhatted every developer in Japan, this really could just be the Nintendo box. Can't see another RE4 situation happening for them this time around for instance.

That's most likely why it will sell the most, at least initially, on Wii U. After how Origins performed, I think this will hit 19.99 pretty fast as well. It's definitely a lot easier to wait for a game to drop in price when its released so close to so many other high profile titles. You're right. Does not seem like a wise decision.

5 player isn't going to happen on Xbox 360. it could happen on PS3 though.
most likely though, the PS3/360 versions will have sizable differences in their level design when compared to the Wii U version wherever Murfy was required.

Play through Origins on Vita, happy to see Legends go multiplat since I don't own a Wii U. I'll probably pick it up for PS3.

If anyone needs to feel better, they're releasing this in the same month as Grand Theft Auto V. They are going to get crushed. I don't know why they carry on insisting doing this with the Rayman titles, a Spring release date would have made infinitely more sense.
