ps3 could just be a placeholder for ps4 on their site, since they probably don't have a category for ps4 yet.

how was COD a compromised experienced exactly? I personally think it is the definitive console version(minus DLC, and a sub par population which has gotten better)

I think you need to look up compromised in the dictionary.
If shitty framerate in one part of one mission within one third of the total game package is a compromised experience, then sure.
I think it could be if you took it in the context of gameplay. However, Universe could indicate the "Mario" universe, and could incorporate new and old elements together. Imagine an open world mario that has some side-scrolling ares like NSMBU ect.. could be cool..
I think Mario Universe is just a fan given monicker for the next console mario game. Same as xbox 720, for the next gen xbox.
The name has been thrown around for a long while, I think it pooped up right around the name of the console, WiiU, was announced. I wouldn't read too much into the name.
