That's a good feeling, right?
I'm guessing he meant it was magical

not a fan of that d-pad
If it's anything like the Vita's, it'll be amazing. Like a DS Phat d-pad with a higher profile.
Yoda voice: You will be
Because some games require it (recently DmC). One of my major issues with the 360 pad.
So people can't run off with them and sell them. Control let's wired for the same reason. Much tougher to steal/leak the whole actual devkit.Yeah those definitely looks like cameras.
Kind of weird they are built in to the main dev kit box and not just a plug in device.
I like the d-pad the way it is now. I love the space between the pad.
I hope it's like this...would be awesome
But how is that controller staying up on it's grips like that?
I really like the shape of this controller but those sticks being at the top of the controller is objectively bad.Fucking sticks still in the wrong place, y u no learn from ergonomics overlords sony.
Not being a fanboy, (almost) definitely going PS4 next gen, just really don't like DS layout of sticks.
Oh well, the added bulk probably makes it a bit more comfortable.
edit: am sorry to bitch in this awesome thread

Hmm OPTIONS and SHARE? Might be those two things that look like buttons after all?
I think for stereo cameras to sense depth accurately they would have to be quite far apart.
I thought Share was axed? What's the deal with this? I hope it's not it sounded cool.
Everything except for this sounds great. I am not a fan of that bright ass light being on the controller at all times. Hopefully it is not what I'm expecting and doesn't stay on all of the time. From VGLEAKS:

No info on mic or jack

If you position your hands as if they are holding a controller and move your thumbs up and down, tell me which way is easier and provides more movement. That stick layout makes it cumbersome to reach down towards the face buttons.
Hm, no mention of START/SELECT, possibly so?
What use does it have?

They removed analog controls on the buttons? I guess if there's no BC, there's no need for it, but it seems like a strange decision.
Hopefully, the SHARE dream still lives!
Ditto. Nobody wants a big ass notification lamp. I'm still crossing my fingers that you can turn it off in the system options.
So the rest of the buttons won't be analogue?
Fake!
Probably they changed start/select buttons to Share/options.
