It's a fake. The colours make no sense and it doesn't actually say anything for being such a wide logo.
I'm not saying it's not a decent value when you think about it. I'm saying the general public doesn't care about half of those features and wont care about the value. They just want to play online games and maybe get the game discounts if they don't mind an all digital download future. And when they see $50 Vs $90 I think a lot of people will waiver. Not to mention when you ask a good portion of the people why they're willing to pay for Live their response is "Because my friends have it." So you're going to have to hope for a lot of early adopters at $90 that are willing to spread around the value of the service.I don't believe so. Charging for online play and giving away a healthy amount of free games each and every month along with possibly some downloadable content as well as the additional features is a very good value proposition in the face of a $50/$60 Xbox Live that only offers some of the above features.
Cloud gaming especially. To offer any
subscriber access to their entire cross generation back catalogue. Incredible value.
Now that I've thought about it, I actually
don't mind the price as much as I initially did, but it all depends on how Sony leverage cloud gaming and Plus on PS4.
No they won't, they'll end up paying and that will be that.
The access to free games, discounts, early betas, cloud saves, automatic background downloading is already worth more than that.

The logo does not look like a professional design.

Most of that value only applies to video game enthusiasts. The general public has
already been accustomed to having no BC because of this gen and they don't care about having their saves in the cloud.
It's completely fake. Its the real deal then.
Games journalism is hard, dude.A quick google can reveal shit. I can't believe it took me a minute to do so; why can't these so called journalists do that?

It's fan-made logo.
now that's something i can back up. hope it's true.
So are we thinking that the backward compatibility with Gaikai, which would be included with your subscription to PS+, would allow you to play PS3 games for free?
Is this the correct way to look at this?

You would have access to select PS3 titles free via PS Cloud streaming and it's unclear as to whether or how much of your digital back catalog would be accessible. You may just have access to your PS Plus/PS World titles. So are we thinking that the backward compatibility with Gaikai, which would be included with your subscription to PS+, would allow you to play PS3 games for free?

And if that Gaikai service enables access to stream PS3s library?

Hopefully we'll get some clarification on that tonight. (I'm not naive enough to expect digital distribution of PS1/PS2 catalog titles that aren't currently available digitally. They're not going to stick Suikoden II up there for us through a Gaikai service if they haven't been willing to sell it to us digitally up until now.)
If true, that looks goofy as hell and I expect the hardware to be designed by Fisher Price.
That 89$ a year sounds pretty sketchy imo but I do expect PS+ or Playstation World or whatever they decide to name the service will have a price increase but I don't see it being more then 10$ or 20$ increase.
I'd place the chances of that happening at about 1%. My guess is they'll put up individual games each month.
If Sony really wants to make PSWorld expansive in terms of game selection and effectively turn it into 'the gaming equivalent of Netflix' for $89/year, I think they could get some serious traction with that model.I think the idea in that rumour is that there'd be a regular model for PSCloud where you pay, in some fashion, to play individual games, and then can pay a flat sub to get access to a PS+ style rotating selection of games.

Happy that it's a fake. PS-OLAX for when you find it hard to go.
Exactly. Do they really think most people will consider the other points to be worth that much? Heh, unless that also covers being able to access your saved games. Now that would be evil.If they plan to charge $89 a year, multiplayer will be part of that. The other features without multiplayer doesnt justify that price tag.
Yeah I think I ain't trusting any leaks from now on until the conference starts. There is no point guessing when the facts will come out in a few hours.
I fully expect 499 to be the official price, one model.
Damn you, almost spit my coffee out, lol. That's not an E, those are the bricks you'll be shitting.
