Got my strategy guide. Shit is heavy!

Bottom of the spine was kinda beat the fuck up, but I cant really complain since it was free

edit: damn, this is REALLY nice. Beautiful artwork section. Now I wish it wasn't all beat up :(

Despite all my difficulties of dealing with DR and trying to change CC info, I think I made it out of this ok.

I placed two orders. One was canceled on me and one came through. I got my copy of the wizard edition, a free strategy guide, and a 20 dollar coupon which I used to buy a Katamari shirt. Sorry to those who weren't as lucky as some of us. I will never order from DR again.

I also got my book today. Very nice and even though they messed up, this is more compensation than I think I would have expected.

I also ordered a Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man mousepad with my $20 coupon. They look ok, but one was seriously bent in the box.

Oh Digital River....

Okay, I'm considering selling my Wizard's Edition and Guidebook golden familiar codes, how do people usually go about doing that? [serious question, don't wanna get ripped off PMing a code or something ^^;]

People who got ripped-off by Fishpond, just report them to the ACCC like I did. They broke Australian Fair Trade Laws on Misleading Prices which state that it is illegal to "advertise products at a specific price when it does not have a reasonable supply for consumers to purchase".

I am so dissapointed my Wizard edition still hasn't arrived, Amazon has credited me back the payment so I am not out anything.

It's frustrating when I waited so long and feel I got screwed out of the Wizard edition altogether. I don't have an issue with amazon I guess I should have paid for better shipping but I do have a big issue with digital river over this situation.

Was yours a German order? I'm still waiting for mine. I'm starting to worry now. I've had the download codes for my familiars since January 31st.

I got my guide today.

I know I should be happy because free stuff, but man...

This book REALLY pissed me off. It's like "Hey, sorry we couldn't give you your rare, out-of-print Wizard's Edition, but have this book and go give us $50 for the vanilla game."

I can't decide if I want to throw it in the trash or try to sell it.

Yup mine was amazon.de and they refunded me on the 20th. I also have the familars from end of january. I do hope we both get ours.

I finally got my wizards edition the other day. Was concerned I'd never get it, so you can imagine how excited I was to see it show up in the mail. Unfortunately when I opened it, even though it was factory sealed, it was missing the drippy plush. There was no way to even know it was missing because the flap that opens up to see the contents is also under the shrink wrap.

It upset me a little but I'm just glad I got the book, that was the crown jewel of the WE and the entire point of ordering it in the first place. Just sucks the plush was missing. :[

Got that email too, about 3 weeks ago. It's 'reserved' is code for 'we don't got it'. Sorry. It's also blatantly lying to the consumer which is fraud in Australia. I gave up and just reported them, then bought the standard edition here so I could get the DLC too.

put the game in...firmware update.
finally boot the game. English...installing game...
....

sigh


can't wait for instant on on PS4. hopefully its more streamlined too

Got my order from Amazon.de the other day. Now I have two copies. I have a buddy who might buy one, but was curious of a detail or two. I'm pretty sure its region free, and I know it has English audio, but does anyone know if there are any English subtitles in this version? All the EU copies are the same, right? I'm thinking yes, but wanted to check if anyone could say for sure.

Got another e-mail from Namco telling me that my U.S. order was cancelled, even though I had already received many e-mails from them, y'know, a month ago telling me that. Apparently they're keen on rubbing salt in the wound? Thanks Namco/Digital River, y'alls the best.
