I bought Fez on 360 with my MS points stockpile when it came out, but never played it. I'm excited as hell for it to finally be showing up on Steam and play it there.

Also given Fez's history, I wonder if we'll end up seeing a press release about how much more he'll likely sell on Steam and how easier it is to patch, etc etc.

Well, both of these things are true :p

And given that the developer got screwed because the patch system on the x360, he's going to like steam.

I imagine that Fez's success on Steam will be seldom spoke of, because it would be an admittance that his previous comments about spreadsheets, etc were short sighted.

Fez has some nice moments but they will never recreate the zeitgeist of the original release which was a huge part of it.

I don't know. Half of the fun I had with Fez was the ammount of stuff hidden within the game. I purposely stayed away from reviews and walkthrough to try and figure it out myself and was actually quite fun getting out pen and paper and working things out. Don't know how much appeal that has to most but when the penny drops and you've cracked it yourself it's a rather smug feeling.

Demo sold me on Fez. I'll buy it when it gets to be $2.50 in a sale or two, I'm in no hurry and no matter how bad the rest of it is just what I saw in the demo area alone is worth $2.50.

Yeah, this is pretty much what I figured too. Considering some of the things Phil said, he'll probably just shut up and know he was wrong.

I subscribe to the theory that the worst someone can call your game is "boring", not "bad". A bad game can still bring some enjoyment to the player, kinda like watching shitty movies with your friends and trash-talk them.

Quantum Conundrum is boring.
I don't know, I really liked the demo.

I stopped playing the full game when I reached a platforming section that was very annoying.

So it looks like EA is giving away Mass Effect 3 on origin for the Sim City woes. Does anyone know if save files from ME 1/2 on steam will work with ME3?

FEZ is in the coming soon section.
Oh nice! I'll be getting it for sure. Thanks based TF2 paraphernalia Steam Wallet money.

I forgot, what was all that hidden stuff again? Puzzles? Will I need to write things down in order to finish the game?

I'm not sure if I'll enjoy that...

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
$6.24 for Binary Domain is pretty good. Is that the lowest it's been (without being bundled with other games)?

How do you get the TF2 items with the Don't Starve pre-order? I bought the game but they are not in my inventory. Do I need to actually launch the game? And can I sell those?

Is no one else sad that Fish had to compromise his vision to get Fez on PC?

I checked my spreadsheets and I don't have funding to buy his product :(

Back to my spreadsheets I guess :( :( :(

If PC's are made for spreedsheets, why are you porting Fez then?

[–]PHIL_FISH 5 points 2 minutes ago
for profit.

2 Questions:

1- Does anyone know as to when the Steam Spring Sale will be starting?
2- Does anyone have any idea as to when System Shock 2 will be making its way to Steam?

1. There hasn't been a Steam Spring Sale, but I believe there were rumors last year that Valve wanted to start doing one.
2. It'll probably be 6 months from the GOG release. I think that's when GOG's exclusivity runs out.
