SCEE exec teases "an amazing big title coming to Vita" [Not an indie title]

so i guess this gives us reason to believe that this is a ubisoft game... then my hopes are lowered.

Not a certainty or anything, but it does fit with Shahid's teases (multiple unannounced titles from one publisher). He also responded with a smiley when asked if it was Ubi-related a page or two back.

How many publishers are there with multiple unannounced Vita games?

Because if that was the requisite the only two cases would be Ubisoft and Sega. Of course there be an unknown one but I don't know, seems hard to believe at this point.

Man I hope its Sega.

Welcome, habeebi, Shahid!

A small favour to ask...:

Alien Hominid, Vita
Reckless Disregard for Gravity, Vita.
Dyad, went PS3 -> Steam. Looks perfect for Vita, dev wants it to be free for PS3 game owners and run 60fps though...
All the best flashy arena shooters and shootemups you can find.

Some dead-trigger (iOS like FPS), zombies and IAPs optional, online deathmatch would be great.

I hope you know we expect minecraft :p and still love crash bandicoot.

I hope it's a true megaton. Like I want some Bayonetta 2, Final Fantasy XIII 360 level meltdowns. There would be so many salty people and I could just sit back and watch while caressing my Vita.

I believe at best it's a Ubisoft game.
There's nothing wrong with that at all, but personally if there is one game I wish released it's PSO2. It would be a platform defining title for me.

The thing is hopefully they release titles that suit every Vita owners gaming tastes, that cant be done by releasing only one big title. There has to be multiple big titles announced that appeal to everyone for the Vita to really gain momentum.

So basically replicate whatever they wind up using the WiiU gamepad for?
That's what I want with VitaXPS3/4 connectivity. Why I couldn't play AC3 with the Vita as a controller and map and HUD on its screen, is beyond me. Thought that with a Wii U version and Ubi's Vita support, and Sony trying to spark interest in cross-controller play, it'd have been a sure thing

GAF speaks:

Will there be giant enemy crabs, and if so will they have weak spots for massive damage?

Unfortunately it is too early to hope for real time weapons change

I do too. This is the tweet exchange that gives me hope.

What would GAF's reaction be if it's another Assassins game?

That's what I'm expecting, so I will be disappointed, but not surprised.

But the real thing is when this GT event happens. Does the Vita get a GT? If not, well, I think it's lights out for the Vita. If Sony won't support the Vita with its best stuff, then why will any third parties? We've already seen Killzone: Vita get overshadowed by the PS4 version.

Good news, Vita really needs more great games. The system has a lot of potential but for commercial reasons it's being wasted. This year I'm mostly interested in Muramasa, Dragon's Crown and FFX. I don't care about an other Assassin's Creed. Hopefully new important titles are announced at E3.

I hope this isn't just a bunch of hyping up for a mediocre or totally unsurprising game announcement. I want to be blown away by Vita games, not say "meh".
