Samething happened during last years superbowl. I was in Boston, and during the game we saw a shitton of cops in riot gear roll up outside. UMass Amherst rioted, that was about it.

Most people in my FB feed are more happy we were in the playoffs to begin with and knew it was a bunch of new crew playing veterans, even if the actual game 7 was a bit souring to experience.

Then again I still have < 100 FB friends so maybe it's like an automatic garbage filter.

Seems that the Toronto police is much better prepared to handle these crowd situation than Vancouver. What an embarrassment for Vancouver that we let the riot got that bad.

I was so pissed when they tied the game. The overtime goal just seemed inevitable. I was over the loss pretty quick though, it's a young team. Or I'm just so numb from all the Toronto teams sucking that I'm just desensitized to losing at this point.

Ah well, go Jays! Oh, right....

I think the worst part is Boston were being really poor sports during the first 2 periods. A few dirty punches/elbows were thrown out of anger... and then they went on to win. Feels bad man.

My landlord is such a big Leafs fan. Literally lives and dies with every goal. He was super depressed this morning when I saw him in the laundry room. You could tell he didn't want to talk about it at first when I brought it up. But then he started ranting and raving about them. Poor guy.

lol. When I leave my friends place at 2 am on a Saturday night around the downtown club area these guys are out in droves herding the cattle back to the suburbs.

Lucic seems incredibly immature. I don't even care too much about the Leafs, but I just don't want to see a team like the Bruins succeed.

At Big Moes to try the Juicy Lucy burger. Let's see how this is....

Poutine was meh. It doesn't really go well with their waffle fries. Also did not use cheese curds.

Burger ratio was good. Ingredients were good. It came with this weird...sauce that reminded me of the big Mac special sauce.

Patty was OK if a bit crumbly. Bun started getting soggy and disintegrated towards the end. The cheese really meshed well with the patty as well, which was juicy for the most part.

Does not topple Burger's Priest. Above Apache burger and maybe a slight edge over five guys.

You're right. Oddsmakers had us barely making five games, let alone pressing to OT in game 7.

The Leafs showed potential, grit, and good heart. They have the ability to play with the big boys, and they can overcome regular season crap to take three from a team that has, for a long, long time mopped the floor with them. Two in a row, no less, and nearly three...

...Had the Leafs not returned to the (easy-to-fall-into) mental game trap, where you lose focus and can't get your feet back when the other guys find a new gear.

So there's hope, and reason to celebrate. What's more, we did what we set out to do this year: lay the foundation with a really young team to succeed in the mid-to-long-term.

Next season is really going to be the test for the Leafs and the direction they will be going. Its going to be a full season, there will be roster changes, most importantly, will the collapse still haunt them.

There were two girls at the MH meet up.

EM's wife and added time and his wife came as well...even though I didn't say anything to added time cause I was busy carrying kave_man's lazy white ass.

As for the next meet up, kavey doesn't want to fight at sneaky dees. He said he couldn't control his raging anger at the college students and hipsters there.

That would leave krafty at a disadvantage...

I bitched about Bioshock Infinite for 2 hours on a podcast already, that's out of the system for now.

Xbox is next week right?
