I literally just loaded up the game and just used the revolver to headshot a hunter, 1 hit kill.
Hunter is a human? If so then thank you. Bullet sponges are something that can really ruin immersion.

Joystiq at the time, now Polygon.Lol. Who does he write for?
Keep fucking that chicken, Sterling
no wonder you sucked ass at Vanquish and gave it a 4/10

Thank you sir.I literally just loaded up the game and just used the revolver to headshot a hunter, 1 hit kill.
The upside down forced shooting part is an infinite ammo setpiece.
so how many reviews are left to come at this point ? you know just to get an estimate about final metacritic score, i seriously wasn't expecting a 96

Thank you. I hope this game has a big influence on cinematic shooters. Less ammo, more painful bullets please. It's different if it's a run and gun shooter like Halo or something. Mixing tactical and bullet sponges is just dull.I literally just loaded up the game and just used the revolver to headshot a hunter, 1 hit kill.
Ugh, I think bullet sponges are the one thing keeping me from enjoying Uncharted. It's so boring to sit there and shoot someone four times in the chest before they hop behind a wall. I hope the gunplay is not like Uncharted.Yea, he said it was the same for Uncharted. It's not, Uncharted is 1 hit headshot kills except for helmet wearing heavies.

So the consensus is that the game should be played with headphones?
Any suggestions?
40-50 reviews still left to be accounted for.
The final score will probably be cemented by the end of june.

But is that like a "first 5 hours enemy" or a "last 7 hours enemy."
.........Don't look at me like I'm crazy, this matters to me more than you know
Thanks
The only thing I'm bathing in is jetlag.
So I just read a couple of different reviews with different kinds of scores, and at the end of it, I still don't know what makes this game so amazing?
The gameplay seems to consist of walking around open areas looking for trinkets (been done a million times), 3rd person shooter sections with wobbly aim, and trivial sounding puzzles. Also there is stealth, but it involves using a magical ability to see through walls.
I'm not saying the game is or isn't amazing since I haven't played it, but if you ignore the story and characters and graphics and all that, what about the gameplay in this game is actually supposed to be standing out so much to get all these 10's? Honest question.
I regret clicking this.
Really? What's next, infinite ammo setpiece? But upside down forced shooting part?
Still very excited for the game, but come on.
I literally just loaded up the game and just used the revolver to headshot a hunter, 1 hit kill.
Which can be turned off.....Also there is stealth, but it involves using a magical ability to see through walls.
The front cover of my Uncharted 2 box says "25 perfect reviews".
How many is TLoU at now?

Are there any major ones besides GT that haven't posted their score? We all know this is a weighted system and the major sites are the ones that matter more for the score.

Nevamind. Figured it out!
At a certain point, you're probably going against paramilitary, my guess is the Fireflies, and they might require multiple headshots.

just saw all the review scores. naughty dog does it again! amazing.
are any of the video reviews light on spoiler material?
Your PS3 controller is dead, RIP Antitrop
hammer the PS button, that's what I do
Does it matter? Uncharted 2 never got a 7.5. Uncharted 2 wins.
I doubt Naughty Dog will even do a GOTY Edition thanks to Polygon.
Do they take more damage on increase difficulties?
I have this weird fear that as Naughty Dog leaves their more wacky days behind them they're gonna eventually change the logo to better reflect their recent games
then again it's the name that could sit a bit goofy now, not really the logo
hope they keep everything
Where the heck are all you people getting an early copy?
Congrats on the stellar reviews! Can't wait until the 14th!
Good to see this game scoring well, i've been on a media blackout for this game, the only footage i've seen was with Adam Sessler who did a 5 min preview/hands-on with it a few months back.
I've become really bored of 3rd person story based action games recently, sticking to games which involve heavy rpg elements/loot mechanics (monster hunter, diablo) or quick fix action games (shmups, twin stick shooters). I got bored of Resident Evil 6 and Dead Space 3 really quickly despite the previous games being some of my all time best and those were the last games I purchased (even gave GOW: Ascension a miss). I'm really excited to jump back into my fave genre with The Last of Us.
You just responded to the Community Manager of Naughty Dog, hahahaha.
seemed to be the same on hard. don't have survivor unlocked atm.
Is there any conceptual art for the game online? As an artist, I would love to see some of your teams pieces.
