When you make a mistake and go off track or hit another car, it immediately breaks immersion.

The MotorStorms are among the ugliest games on PS3 when you take a close look at track, car and texture detail.

I do not agree with that. Motorstorm deals with vast environments and this had to be paid with car detail.

Apocalypse also need to deal with destruction which was on whole other level that we saw in any racing game.

Rushy confirmed the game will have a mix of point to point stages and tracks to race on.

Man the actual game reveal is going to be KZ2 CGI all over again.

That's quite clear full on CG... this is quite clear in-engine. Maybe not realtime, but there's a world of difference between the 2.

Any game can run that, any hardware too. Just depends on how much they want to push the visuals.

I know PC can do things like this but they are stuck with the current gen assets right now for the most part.

games are created with frametime budget you don't just create game and release it at FPS you end up.

It is not sim racing game. IT is more like PGR. PGR was 30 FPS and noone complained about it.
There is ton of people who wouldn't mind arcade racing game @ 30. I also will probably buy it at launch.

If it would be sim racing game then i wouldn't even care for it @ 30fps.

It's not that amazing... people (particularly high-end PC enthusiasts) have been massively underestimating what a new generation of consoles means to graphics. IQ is not everything. It's not all about raw horsepower. It takes a new generation of consoles to kick game developers into making better looking stuff.

We are just starting to see the tip of the iceberg here. Many exclusive console games are going to look fundamentally better than PC games for a while again.
