Good for you then ...

I just hope you understand that no one has an equal internet connexion on earth.

When you play against a king with +80 power , one miss is all they need to inflict damage and continue while you're on the ground.

indeed king players are great when they play king.. when i lose because i'm combo throw like crazy i have no problem. i've seen some great players that trully are skilled...
but it's just painfull to se a king that was playing normally to sudden do "low kick low kick in repetition" like that

I understand that and I'm telling you that it doesn't really play a role in punishing that move. I'm trying to tell you that you can still learn how to block/low parry the move to punish it and it won't be a thing that you'll worry about ever again.

I don't have a problem punishing that move , i have plenty of moves with asuka or lily ( my 2 main characters ) to punish .. the same way i punish kazuya players abusing lasers..

You won't change my opinion that is a cheap move that's all.
My problem is not that the move is abusable,/blockable or not , my problem is that too many players are abusing the same move and using the same pattern in ranked.
That abuse is only prevalent because lag help and encourage players to resort to those cheap tactics.

Your definition of the term "cheap" is quite warped then.

I'm back.

I got Jin at 30 000 gift points, what a pain in the ass. Game stopped giving free tickets too.

Detailed Jin changes in Revolution by my testing.

db+4 doesn't trip on ch, has "big hit/splash" effect even on normal hit. 4 in 3,1,4 still trips on ch.

1,3~3,3 and f3~3,3 the last 3 causes knockdown, never stuns, is nc if previous 3 hits. Bigger damage then before but no stun on ch.

2,1,4 if 4 hits, opponent has tiny stun animation. Doesn't really change anything.

Soul 1+2 launcher seems to launch opponent straight up. High.

CD2 and CD1 may have better hitboxes because they seem to hit all the time from whatever range you want. Don't know about the speed, because that zoom effect just makes everything look so fast. Electrics are harder to see because of the zoom and critical splosion covering everything, sometimes you knew you did it only by hearing "HAA!" from Jin.

The other thing they made is that everything Jin does hits grounded. Consistently. Almost literally whatever you want, even ff+2. I think every mid beside maybe b+4 and df+1 will hit grounded opponent. Lows like CD+4 also always hit and thats critical. Looks pretty funny. Gets people mad. If they don't get up they'll eat huge damage.

There might be some changes to few strings being nCc like 1d+3,4 but it's hard to test alone and online.

I forgot one huge change, lol.

Hopkick launches up on normal hit like in Tekken 5.
It's trollastic I tell you XD . Tekken 5 Jin in yo face.

Oh and Jin's face looks tiny bit different too. Harada is playing in face surgeon or what.

Yeah this gift point system is incredibly obnoxious. I'm probably just gonna make a bunch of PSN accounts until I get the character that I want since the first 2 unlocks are very quick.

I voted for giant mantis but I doubt that would win, wish we could have voted for more than one though.

Girl Paul was on my list and the last was a split between Gami and the Salmon.

...and Shin fans will be piiiiiiiiiiiissed.

I laughed when I read in description that he really doesn't know any martial arts or fighting.

It would be hilarious if he'd just start the round with pile of rocks in his hand and just threw for 1pts of damage (2 on CH!) and when he's out he'd throw his snickers as last attempt.

Been a really long time since I played Tekken(4-5) years and started playing this for fun a couple of weeks ago on recommendation.

It's been fun for the most part and it took awhile to get used to all the moves/combos. Actually got to 100W today. Felt good.

Reading through the last couple pages, I say the Kazuya hate & I agree for the most part but recently it hasn't been as bad for me.

The char I hate fighting the most is King. A good King player is annoying as hell to deal with.

Must also share my hatred for Lili, such a bogus character imo.

Main thing that annoys me is the coins and the the sudden lack of tickets.(and 1 move spammers)

One of the best thing about the invincible moves in this game is completely shutting down spammable nonsense like Lili's d/f+3+4. Free shoulder every time.

Yeah, also Law's kick that some people love to spam. I usually counter with a throw(pisses them off the most) or slamming that face into the ground.(I use Asuka)

Btw how everyone voted?

I voted for the giant Praying Mantis, only because I know that they would absolutely make the character if it won. How many fighting games are willing to throw a giant praying mantis in amongst a cast that is largely human?

Salmon was my second vote, then either Ganmi chan or the regular old man. I hope to True Ogre that Shin doesn't win. No offense, but he's super muscular and supposed to be indestructible, yet he can't throw a punch, and he died in one hit from Heihachi. One hit! Even frail old Dr. B doesn't die in one hit from Heihachi!

My guess is people want him in to replace classic Jin as brooding handsome young Japanese guy in high school, since Jin waged war on the world in Tekken 6, and therefore is ruined.

Oh, I hope that if they include Shin, it's as the "thin" emo dude with his shirt on. Not the muscular dude. That would suck.

Pretty annoying how the player match rooms break in this game. Ahh, well.

On my fourth PSN account trying to get Jin. Named it "HelloNeoGAF" for kicks and keep making rooms called "Hello Gaffers." So if anyone joins those rooms, it's just little old me.

The premium effects are quite amazing. Those fireballs are going to look nice in TKXSF.

I don't like the orange filter in this game, though.

I voted Big Mantis because I'm hoping for a true mantis style kung fu form.

Also, how much longer are they gonna hold back on characters in every Tekken since 1?

Sheesh.

You know....if they do add more characters, how long will it take to unlock them with the limited playtime? I still have like 3 characters to go and I did not have as many gift points as I originally thought. By the time I get them all at this rate, next generation or even the next Tekken game will be available then.

It moves pretty quick if you use your tickets and never lose.

It helps to play when promo events are going on that multiply your Gift Point rate. I first started playing this game when the new DLC came out two weeks ago, and the x5 Gift Point multiplier boosted my unlock speed really fast. I now have all of the initial six extra characters available, and enough Gift Points for the next three that come out (Hwoarang, Dragonov, ???).

BTW, when is the U.S. patch supposed to come out anyway?

I'm just happy they added a practice mode. That should help unfortunate players who may not see a character released that they like to play for 10+ updates. They then have to be forced to learn a character or two that they don't care for, so they may as well have a practice mode to do it for free. That's the worst part of this system.

Now it's obvious.

They delayed the patch because they want to "give out" something on Comic-Con.

Harada just landed there.

So obvious it's funny.

I'm having so much fun with Kazuya, I know one combo but I don't know any others that does much damage. I'm still need to unlock Bryan, but for now I'll stick with Kazuya.

Jun's going to come and bring him back to life!

or Zombie Shin...

Too bad she can't magically teach him how to fight.
That's right Shin, that takes years of discipline and effort and some sense of self-worth you dirty, suicidal, dead, pretty boy, pansy!

Um. You'll have to excuse me. I have the sudden urge to print out a picture and gnash it up in my teeth.
