Great news, Feb is much sooner than I was expecting. With the PS4 launching in what is essentially December (in the Euro countries and Aus) that's basically less than three months wait from launch to Second Son.

inFamous may be my favorite video game franchise so my hype for this is through the roof. I still think there's a secret multiplayer mode they're just waiting to spring on us. And if not that, a Vita inFamous game.

So Infamous in Feb, in between launch and that we'll be getting new digital/PS+ free games. Constant content each month

But I am glad Sony is dulling out their big hitters. You don't want front loaded sells and not be able to sell the system throughout the year. *Vita had a fantastic launch line up but a sporadic release schedule. I don't think Sony wants to repeat that.

*Please Note: I absolutely love my Vita and IMHO is one of the best handhelds I had the pleasure of owning.

Have to point out that a staggered release list isn't great for early adopters, but it drives adoption. Having a big bang at launch, and nothing for the next 6 months is worse than a bad launch lineup.

How is the platform supposed to stay relevant without tentpoles throughout the year. And I'd argue February (tentatively) is a pretty good spot to pitch up a tent, lord knows I'm tenting for this game. Tent.

I still can't get over how beautiful the facial animations were in the Gamescom trailer. They just seemed so...alive. As in i could actual see and feel what Delsin was feeling after the alarm went off. The gameplay looks great, but its the way they are displaying Delsin that has me interested the most, a character that actual comes across as fun loving and enjoying his gifts seems like a breath of fresh air for me.

Can't wait for this game to release, may it be as soon as February, sweet, but I will get it whenever it comes out.
