Yep, not even a change in enemy tactics if they weren't going to remix dungeons. This seemed like they could have done this in a day. Is there at least a boss rush?

I really hope so, otherwise it's the saddest thing in the world. All early adopters are universally screwed over. That's the price you pay for enjoying the new hotness before us unwashed masses do.

WW is piss easy. Do hero mode. WW was the first 3D Zelda i ever beat and died maybe 2x.

You can change when you load your game so you can experiment.
Unless WWHD is also your first video game ever, just play Hero Mode. And by the way, it really doesn't matter since you can switch back and forth before loading your save every time (I think they show that even in the trailer). So if you find it too hard or frustrating, just save, switch and load.
So they replace Nintendoland with WW, add a little gold design on the pad, and (I assume) are still charging $350 for it? :/
This does nothing for me. I'd rather get a game I've never played before like Nintendoland than one I've already played to death on the gc and wii. I'll admit the pad decal does look nice though.
Oh well, I've already waited this long for a proper price drop, I can wait a little longer.

This is complete conjecture on your part. None of this is known or confirmed or even rumored. You didn't even read the OP in which I specifically bolded the part where it says we don't know anything other than what's in the picture. All the picture tells you is that there will be a Wii U console with a Zelda design similar to the 3DS they did for OoT 3D.
Stop making stuff up and complaining about it.
What discount? You mean the Deluxe Promotion? That is part of every Deluxe SKU.

Really, what are you expecting when you buy a console at launch? Of course there are going to be special/improved editions down the road. Do you not understand basic business strategy? Nintendo didn't fuck you over, nor did they reward late adopters. They're a business, dude. They're not your friend.
On the topic of Hero Mode, yeah, Wind Waker was really easy. Most damage only took away 1/4 heart per hit, if I remember correctly. Hero Mode all the way! Really awesome on Nintendo's part to have that available from the beginning, plus the ability to change difficulty at any point.

So yes, it probably does but by the time it comes out, there will barely be any time left on it anyway.

You should have approached Nintendo to sign a deal to never release something newer, better or cheaper, in exchange for your early adoptance ways.
Still not convinced this is even a full-price worthy title, let alone a bundle worthy. I suppose given the present situation even a port of a good game is enough to sing and dance about for Nintendo.
Like many people I gave up on the original when I reached the "collect the fragment" section they slapped in at the end when they had to cut that half finished dungeon from the game so close to release, is there any info on if they've finished and included it in this one? or have they just cranked the lighting and bloom up to J J Abaram level?

Those dungeons were used in Twilight Princess.
The lighting is far from the only graphical enhancement they've made, as it runs on a brand new engine.
The Triforce Quest is now much shorter and they've actually added a fair amount of new stuff to do in the game.
You haven't been following the game much, have you?
No new dungeons, the Triforce hunt has been SIGNIFICANTLY altered and there are a ton of UI tweaks that directly impact the gameplay and pacing by cutting down on switching back and forth between the inventory and the game.

Everyone does it with every product. iPads, iPhones, 360s, PS3s, PSPs, Vitas, 3DSes, DSes, Game Boys, GBAs ...

Reading over the Target bundle rumors again, it seems that the SKU was allegedly still sitting at the $349.99 mark. I really hope that's not true or if it is, that it's just a placeholder. I would be disappointed enough in a lack of price drop that I would hold off purchasing the system another year. Although it's still cheaper than PS4, it's not enough, IMO. Nintendo might be relying on parents choosing the cheaper system which includes a game, and granted Zelda has better brand power than Nintendoland, but $50 is not a big difference when we're talking about over $300. Especially for the target market. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who feel the Wii name equates to a fad brand they got sick of a couple of years ago.
It's... It's just a special edition. Those happen with every single console ever made...

There are people still asking questions. Apparently you can't overstate things enough for some folks out there. It's baffling I know.
They probably just pulled unsold stock and slapped it on.
They wanted to show off the new features, which are, well, pretty basic - especially if it's indeed a full price title as indicated by wholesale prices over here in Germany.
I don't know why people are complaining about no new dungeons. It's not like Sony added anything significant to any of its HD ports of God of War Collection, Sly Collection, Shadow of the Colossus & Ico Collection. Wind Waker is a pretty straight forward port meant to serve as an HD experiment for the team, but they at least took the time to fix some of the issues most people had with the original game.
People are complaining about the price. IF it's truly 60 bucks at launch, it's a bit much. Especially when Nintendo's original games are much cheaper than that.
The problem is also that we've heard about the infamously "cut dungeons" for so many years that it was inevitable that people would be asking for new dungeons once a re-release/port/remake was announced. And since Nintendo is traditionally pretty good about adding bonus content for re-releases like that, it was surprising to hear they didn't add anything like that (seemingly) this time but instead chose to go in an tweak the actual game design.
Oh, I could see Nintendo trying to get away with $60, but it's at least still a better deal for the console bundle since Nintendo Land and ZombiU can be found for $20 or less nowadays.
Twilight Princess came from a heavily modified Wind Waker engine. My guess is they ported the excluded dungeons from WW and used them as foundations for a couple from TP. Aonuma has implied as such:

I wonder when the release of this will be. I'm finishing a few games on my backlog and want to buy a Wii U soon. It'll be this one instead of the other bundle for sure. It's just that, I'm in the market to get a Wii U sooner rather than later.
