I was pissed off when I saw the Hunger game movie after reading the book. Half of the movie was me going "WHAT THE FUCK, THIS DO NOT HAPPEN LIKE THAT!". I know you have to make some sacrifice for a movie, but was removing the entiere plot of the mayor daughter necessary?

Didnt see World War Z do far, but from what I know, its a movie with the same name. Its not the same thing at all. The closest thing to World War Z would be a Discovery channel fake documentary called "Zombies : Is the undead alive?"

I'm currently reading the book. The book tells dozens of stories from various characters, all around the world, and covers several years. It's pretty much every side you could think of of a zombie apocalypse. The movie has Brad Pitt going to, say... four or five different places ? Also the zombies run.

Well the book is a documentary about the zombies written by fictional researchers and archelogists about Zombies in the different places in different times.
I really do not get how they can make a movie out of this. It would be like making a movie out of a Dinosaur thesaurus and turning it into a action movie.
Its a cash in for the author of the book and of the movie. People will buy the book thinking its like the movie, and people will buy the movie because the book was good.
