Well if you search on ebay there are unlocking services for barred phones - just ask the premium sellers around, they want your money so they should help you out. I saw offers like that on polish auction websites as well. This, or jailbreak. I am currently unlocking my phone cause I am absolutely sick of my carrier (seriously Vodafone in Ireland is beyond bad) and I hope I will have my phone unlocked no problem. It's like 30 euro but maybe cheaper/pricier depending on the carrier (I'd say try to find out to what carrier the phone is locked to).

If you're not on a contract currently you can just ask vodaphone to unlock it for free. Alternatively pay their early termination fee and unlock it. If you're pay to go, if you've spent €100 you can also ask for a free unlock.

You see It was on contract AFAIK but I it bought off my brother's friend. I'm bit angry at him because my brother was supposed to get the simlock thing done for me - I don't know if contract has been terminated (probably not) but they were supposed to request an unlock. He said Vodafone never contacted his friend so I take it they ignored the request.
I didn't spend 100 euro on credit since I moved to Vodafone around in May (I had no choice - had no money for a simlock at the time, and I didn't want to Jailbreak it for obvious reasons) - I requested an unlock though as I was away from country for nearly 3 months - I should have switched earlier... not only the prices were hilarious (even back in Ireland they are crazy, but I blame the undeveloped market, especially in comparison to Poland) and in Poland my phone was unreachable. I couldn't send texts, I couldn't receive calls, so I didn't exactly bother paying for service that didn't work. Apple said the lock is issued by the carrier and they can only take it off at the carrier's request.
Actually my family always had issues of some kind with Vodafone here. Not only they respond to issues with glacial speed, but they mostly send you from one dept to another without fixing the problem really. The prices and the services offered are awful.

I am aware it's not exactly legal, but fingers crossed it won't attract any more problems. I don't think the procedure is that common to the point they bother taking the thing down.

But I suppose that's enough of Vodafone/Family drama for one thread

Once you build a bed and place it in your home, you'll automatically return there upon death. Beds are basically spawn points. I still haven't managed to craft one myself...I can't find a chain, which is need to build a woodmill, which is needed to build a loom, which is needed to create silk, which is needed to create a bed. What a pain.

Aside from death, you can instantly return to your home by using a Magic Mirror item. They can only be found in chests, but they don't seem to be too rare.

Nice, i'll definitely check it out. Watched a video and it looks good. I also found Slitherine's Legion and Great Battles medieval. They look more up Total Wars ally.

I recommend King of Dragon Pass. You can say it is a 4X strategy game played as a text-based adventure. Kind of hard to explain, because it is such a unique concept. But I highly recommend it. It is extremely deep and will keep you busy for months/years.

I "cheat" when before I'm done with Terraria session, I'll just manually save and quit. Then when I restart later, I'll start from the spawn point. I'm guessing if you're house is close to the spawn point, this may be a way to cheat and get back to your house?

You can build a chain with some iron bars on an anvil iirc. Not a very difficult one at least.

In other news, I'm highly considering switching to an HTC One or S4 or something for my next phone. I'd still keep my iPad, but unless Apple really wows me with the 5S, I don't see myself getting yet another iPhone. I'm ready for a big change. On the plus side, connecting to Facebook also means your friends high scores manifest ingame as giant billboards with their profile pic on that you can smash through.

The game doesn't post to your wall subversively either.

Hi Everyone. I apologize for the lack of communication. I was in Seattle at PAX for the last week with little to nil internet connection and flew back this afternoon.

I am sorry that people are experiencing bugs with the iOS version. Rest assured, Codeglue and 505 are working extremely hard to address these bugs and there will be patches very soon. I will read through the threads here that discuss bugs this week and forward notes to the development team.

This Is Not A Test: A Post-Apocalyptic Prequel

I have played it for a bit.

At the start you have to pick 3 abilities, f.e. Cunning, Brawling, and Marksmanship.

Then the first page of a comic book appears which is about something happening to the world, the skies turn red and there's a news bulletin on the radio about it.

After reading the text and looking at the pics you can f.e. look around in the spot where you are or talk to a person who is on the page.

When you're done a new page appears and I reckon these pages will be different when you make different choices.

Didn't have time yet to play further but it looks promising.

Yeah, we have other stuff that supports Gamecenter and Facebook in parallel. It's mostly about providing a mechanism for cross platform competition.

Uggggh, this game. Can't stop playing it. I love it so much I'm playing it on both my iPad and iPhone (further along on the iPad.) iCloud support would be nice, but I kind of like having to replay everything on my iPhone :3 That said, some of the holes are horseshit, but the game seems to like to dole out an impossible hand every once in a while. Just restart the course a couple of times and it'll throw you a bone.

Hmmm I played the Giant Boulder of Death a little, deleted it. Nice little game (the way the objects whirl up in the air reminds me of Katamari a lot, plus the entire style is quite cute) but I think I am tired of F2P games. I only keep Robot Unicorn Attack 2... wait, did it just got updated with the second currency? Oh well I was just going to say I keep it because it doesn't feature that continue diamond bullshit. Seems like it will be deleted soon as well.

Also still have Temple Run 2 because it still entertains me every now and then, It's sharp and it's quite difficult, and PvZ2 because I haven't played it extensively.

For me, the future is premium. F2P can be entertaining but in small doses. But I guess I will never be the audience, if I am not willing to pay for that kind of model.

How does 2KDrive compare to other racing games? From the videos the game looked actually worse than the Real Racing 2, but gameplay wise, is it competition to RR or is it more like Need for Speed/PGR? Currently I am happy with the latest Asphalt, though I feel too often that the game just won't let you win with underpowered car (had a perfect run in a largely underpowered car then just before finish I got taken down by a car that just appeared behind me? WTF?)... anyone having experiences like this? Maybe I should buy a car pack... but that makes me feel like I lost the game with gameloft

This looks good, but its name strikes me as some cheap CoD/CS mash-up, like Call of Strike Counter Duty.
