What sense does it make to have him presenting unless it somehow involves him? Capcom is backwards, but they've never done that before.

It sold less, but it could be that a game made with temp staff subsidized by the UK government is cheaper than a staff of compromised Capcom lifers.

Because it's not just a new announcement, it's a stage event about the Capcom's Smartphone line-up, which includes Dragon's Dogma Quest, which Itsuno is involved in.

Actually, I found confirmation that Blade Fantasia is indeed the game they announced, on the business day version of the Line-up Stage Event.

Come on guys, this should be expected by now. I still don't know what the hell Capcom is doing. They invested all this money in a next gen engine and only use it for one game.

Capcom feels like the kid that could do so much better but never applies themselves. At first it's disappointing, but hard to keep getting your hopes up they'll do better when the result is always the same.

Forgot about Dragon's Dogma QUEST. I guess it makes sense now. I thought the reveal was going to be that Itsuno was also working on Blade Fantasia. It's even less exciting than that, somehow.

They are doing Deep Down and Dead Rising 3. And so, once more, a temporary reprieve from being totally irrelevant...

Deep down looks surprisingly good. Not just graphically, which it does, but gameplay too.

But honestly, all that does is make me want Dogma 2. :(

I'm somewhat confused, has TGS started officially yet? When does the event end? Hoping for some decent announcements, somewhere before it's up. Or is it all just show floor stuff now and no new announcements will be made?

Well, TGS started yesterday from what I remembered. This Saturday and Sunday, they are opened to the public if I'm right.

I knew it was going to be the most disappointing thing ever. Capcom is the new Square when it comes to hyping reveals that are just mobile fair.

I don't think well ever see the old capcom guys.

This...causes me a lot of anxiety, about my expectations of other publisher/developers in Japan, and what they will be developing. Optimistically...anxiety, for the near term.
