I think most of them were posted by the community manager and are hence representative of the final screens. I'm not worried if they are mockups or not, since we have already seen the UI in action and can expect the final screens to be very similar, if not exactly the same
However, I see that the calendar and trophy screens were posted by some Paul2007. Not sure if they are official or fan art
as I mentioned earlier, they're fake and pretty bad ones.

The new blue is a huge improvement to the original blue. I kind of expect the background color to change similar to the PS3. Plus I'm sure there will be custom backgrounds to download.

That's apparently the "Games" area. There is still remnants of the XrossMediaBar from what we saw at GamesCom when Shuhei Yoshida did the live presentation.

It looks great to me, clean and no adds. Sony makes good ui's from what I've seen of em, I have a Bravia a few years old, it was actually the easiest set up for a device I've ever done, complete with an explanation of each different option you select in the bottom left of the screen.
I'm pretty sure the color can be changed just like on the ps3
So an evolution of the What's New page? IIRC on PS3 it shows you the last three games you played, alongside new content from the Store and some other news.
It would make sense because of the symbol on the left.
This one is too empty to be the main menu...right?
The XMB is on the top of it, so its kinda both.
I personally like it a lot, looking much better than the Xbox OS, i just wish i can change the background color.

Cool stuff. I like the new UI, looks very reminiscent of the XMB with a hint of metro done right.

Ah... so when you select those icons on the top (the ones that looks straight out of the XMB) like Profile or Messages you are taken here, here, etc.?
But where can you find all the games? I see no games tab/folder.
(sorry if it's been already discussed, I'm not sure I understand this interface lol)

Yes, you can use your real photo and name if you want, and pick which friends are able to see it, others will only see the normal PSN avatar and ID.

The games are those big colourful tiles with the game name in the middle of the main menu. You can see a "Start" option on the Knack tile, which is the selected one.
If I could just use a display name that isn't my psn I or my real name. Pleeeease Sony.

It's BSD based, not Linux. They look similar at an application level but they're quite different at a kernel (and business) level.
edit: Sony's never used Linux for any of their Game operating systems; if they did, they were seriously violating copyright laws. They've allowed Linux to be installed on the PS2 and PS3, but that's different.

Fake or not they look fine. I'm sure there will be some who say it looks ugly even when Sony shows the real deal.

Seriously, this looks like shit. Just make the boxes the same size so it's easy to parse. There's a few sites that do this and it looks terrible on all of them.
