Thanks everyone! Speakers are Harmon Kardon. Desk is an Ikea Micke desk for now (plan to replace). I work in software sales.

Oh man, that looks awesome Tabris. Great use of space, beautiful furniture, stunning views, well done with hiding cables too. Flawless overall!

This is my first time contributing to the setup threads, so I thought I'd try making a panorama. Turned out pretty well, I think. :)

I am looking to paint my room a new color and I love that green that you have on your wall. Do you remember the name of the color ?

Hmm.. There were a few I was looking at but I can't remember which one I went with. It's either Kelly Green, Jade Green or Emerald Green. I ended up trying all three before deciding on one. I just can't remember which it was. If you can't find which one I could probably try finding the paint can.

Decided to re-paint from green to yellow since I'm not working. But now I'm unbelievably broke so I can't finish anything up (some new furniture etc.) so I'll just post a couple messy ones.

I need some money for new shelves so at the moment everything is just sitting around.

Side cabinet is Besta, Entertainment Stand is Friel which is no longer available.

Thanks. I haven´t considered besta so far. Was planning to get the metal PS cabinet instead.. .well i have to think about it. ^^ Unfortunately the friel is a couple of centimeters to big for my new place. It´s really hard to find a nice lowboard!

Bro what kind of table is that?

And are you currently employed in an illustration/design position?

Just self employed doing whatever people ask me to do with art. Most of the work I get is on traditional mediums though. People really love drawings and paintings of their dogs. I'm still trying to get better.

Table is from the Expedit (I think) series from Ikea that I think has been discontinued because I can't find it on the website anymore. Just a big dark plain table that I painted a golden stripe on.

Here is my new gaming setup (living room and office), as well as the view from it. My place is in Vancouver, BC. I'm missing a Thunderbolt Display as mine is broken and I'm waiting for a revision to replace.

Old setup
Well, here's my extremely ordinary setup:

img2830j.jpg

Very little has changed since that pic was taken.
I have an identical IKEA shelf next to the one in the corner, and in desperate need of a third one. I've also upgraded my PC, and bought a new cabinet.

Finally pulled the trigger on a projector as a supplement to the TV. And because of that I had to basically rearrange the living room. Other than that, the setup is mostly the same. Next on the to do list is to buy a mount, decide on a screen, and get some dark wallpaper.

Nice, that looks really crisp and clear. What projector did you get specifically? I am always interested in them but never knew if they'd be good enough/the screen would be crappy and bring it down overall.

So your projector screen pulls down in front of the TV? Or are you projecting directly onto the wall?

I have been considering trying something similar

Projecting onto the wall currently, while deciding for which screen to buy and what size.
Can't wait to get a real screen, there's gonna be a nice bump in image quality.

Yeah, I was pleasently surprised by the IQ considering I'm shooting on the wall. Like kinggroin said, it's a BenQ, specifically the W1070.
It's a budget full HD 3D DLP PJ (lul). You can get it from around $850-900 in the US I believe.

Are you playing GTAV on a PHAT PS3?
Uh oh.

YUP! And it was a close-to-launch one too... It already crapped up on me twice since I got the game (black screen, have to wait a while for it to cool down). I try not to play for too long though. It has been un-used for more than a year too...

It doesn't show on the picture but I have an altar right next to me where I pray to the Sony gods that the PS3 hangs on untill I'm done with GTA haha

I don't have a really nice main setup, especially as my tv broke, so I thought I'd share a pic from this summer of me and my friends going old school at my home.

^ Awesome waterfront setup!

I came looking for new computer desk ideas as i'm becoming more and more of a PC gamer. Haven't posted setup pics since I moved a couple months back so here's a peak into my humble world. I sold my fat BC PS3 earlier this month ($170 wow) so i'm now a PCWii60 guy.

Looking for a bigger desk and been kicking around a 2nd monitor to pair with the Evo.

Spent most of Sunday reorganizing my gameroom/living space. Had anticipated moving to a slightly bigger space in early october but that won't likely happen till january. Consequently, moved some arcade cabinets out to storage and moved others in. Arcade shooters in the cabs, handhelds, Wii U and perhaps a next gen system will be my gaming for the next six months.

Overall view:

Nightstand. Keep my favorite stick there. My remotes, my chargers and Wii U controller (I almost play everything from the gamepad without a TV):

The two new cabs. One vertical and one horizontal:

My 42" screen. Seems small in the photo but is perfect for PS360 and my Indian blu-rays. I also connected a PC-Engine and Saturn to this HDTV with an upscaler:

I have a small closet in which I store a lot of my gaming collection. There is also another CRT in here. Entrance:

A lot of my indian blu-rays:

Yes Boss!, I love your Unimog lego set! I've been eyeing it forever now.

This thread was the one that made me want to register here. I've been in the setup threads for years now, lurking. I finally got our game/bedroom to where I want it (pretty much, still need to upgrade a few furniture pieces, like my game shelf) and upgraded a lot of my tech. I feel it's probably ready to be shown off. I took the pictures with my HTC One so please forgive the quality, it's dark in here most of the time. Luckily my lady loves the game stuff too, and plays as much as I do. So having the bedroom like this (80% game room) is not an issue! :D

Here's my newish TV- 42'' Vizio 1080p 120hz. Input lag is a bit high but for $300 I couldn't complain.

Here's my game shelf, It's full of goodies!

The whole room, she got me that NukaCola Quantum print(top left) for my birthday, it's my favorite piece!

I think that's it for now, I hope you like it!
