Square Enix still doing the closed theaters crap?

Not really. They haven't kept trailers close to their chests like in the REAL Secret Mega Theater days for years now. Usually their trailers, even when shown in some closed venues, are released to the public quite soon afterwards. They released the KH2.5 trailer almost immediately after it was shown at the D23 KH Stage Event today. I guess with this KHIII footage they are just waiting until that "discussions with developers" clip will be uploaded to that Sony website later this month and want to save the surprise for that. That's not even near the same kind of crap they pulled with the Secret Mega Theater crap back in the day, when we might've easily been waiting for 6-12 months for some trailer to pop up somewhere or hope to Beelzebub that some brave Japanese gamer secretly recorded half of the screen showing a KHII trailer. Now it's a matter of days or at most a week or two to get a high quality youtube trailer.
