Predictions:

iPad (5) - Design improvement, A7X, touchID (same price points)
iPad Mini (2) - A6, touchID, same display (same price points)

iWork/iLife for iOS updated with iOS7 visual design.

Mavericks release date

New Macbook Pros with Haswell
New Retina Macbook Pros with Haswell
Retina Macbook Air

MacPro release date
Retina Thunderbolt display

There will be no Touch ID on the iPads.

Anyway I just want an iPad 5 with 32GB. iPad 3 sucks with iOS7 so I want an upgrade. Not gonna upgrade to ne tablet then for a while. if I had an iPad 4 I would not care about this event at all.

expecting Apple might bump UK pricing too - based on iphone 5S going up. If exchange rates change they usually wait for a new model to adjust pricing.

hoping not, but the eg 32GB ipad 4 is currently £479, so they could easily bump that up to £499

Oh yeah, this is a good point for non Ameican customers. Apple's Canadian prices for the the iPhones are higher than they were last year. So I'd assume higher Canadian prices for all of today's refreshes, as well.

Fifth generation iPad is the only thing I am interested in. iOS7 basically rendered my iPad 3rd generation useless, it is now slow as ass and the battery drains 10x faster.

The only thing stopping me is the possibility of a TouchID sensor in the iPad. It's not like my prints are on file somewhere, but I am paranoid enough to fucking glue a piece of rubber over the home button if they force TouchID upon me.

Dangit, can't watch the Livestream on my AppleTV since it's on a way old firmware for jailbreaking and Plex.

I guess there will be a browser accessible stream, maybe I can AirPlay it to my ATV.

Just bought MB air yesterday, MBP is too heavy and no flash storage, rMBP is too expensive for me. I dont care for a minor spec bump but I'll kill myself if apple lower the rMBP today.

I'm going to get the new mini but I have this strange fear that I am going to think it's too small. This is quite irrational because I have used the current one several times and I always would think to myself what a great form factor it is

Leaving aside that lowering the price is totally improbable if not impossible... waiting 2-3 days couldn't have hurt.

They can go fuck themselves if so. Uk Iphone 5s prices are ridiculous, if ipad mini gets a price bump I'm gonna have to hold off for a bit.

Apple in the past has priced the initial release of a product higher than normal and then lowered on 2nd revision.

I know, the MBA is an example of that but this isn't a revision that's the classic yearly upgrade (unless they actually surprise us with a revision).

mini is less expensive generally so wouldn't get impacted as much. Could bump to £279?

Surprised you can get current models for a decent discount from places like amazon - £232 for a mini is pretty good

TouchID isn't forced upon you.

The new iPad is mine as soon as I can order it. My personal crazy hope is that they bump up the basic space from 16 to 32 gb on the iPad, but I doubt that'll happen.

Rumored spec leak for new Macbooks.

2.3 i7-4850HQ/16/512/Iris Pro 5200 + Nvidia GT750M with 2GB vRAM

If that is accurate, it is so mine.

I'm looking at the current specs and pricing now... The base model (EDU store) is $2000 and the next one up is $2600. Weird price gap.

I would go with the base model, but according to that link you posted, the base will only have Iris Pro? Lame. Probably will avoid if true.

no way they're paying for iris pro for anything with a dGPU in it. the latter isn't fast enough to justify it.

We'll see in a few hours, I wouldn't rule it out.

750M with 2 GB GDDR5 is significantly faster for OpenGL/D3D (especially at higher resolutions) while the Iris Pro is faster for compute.

Iris 5100 in the base 13? Sweet. I was worried they would go with the lower tdp hd 5000.

I predict at least an ipad mini with retina
Jesus. Let's not get crazy now.

My predictions:

- iPad 5, thinner bezel blabla. 2GB RAM, A7X, no touch ID, and bonus: 32 GB starting capacity.
- iPad Mini 2: retina, thicker, 1GB RAM, not A7X. Same price point. No cheap no-retina option.
- Mavericks due next week, 20$ price point.
- No Apple TV, saving it all for next year.
- New iPad cover.
- New Macbook Pro retina.
- New Mac Pros.
