Keenum!

that's all I got :\

I really wish his rise was under better circumstances. It's a hollow victory as a Coogs fan to see him do well, because the Texans are still losing.

Throw on Kubes' "mini-stroke" (which to me sounds like "light treason" or "mild concussion") and this year has been a nightmare for everyone on Kirby.

Luckily, Kubiak is literally 2 minutes away from the Texas Medical Center (best doctors in the country, some possibly in the world) and they were able to quickly start treating him. Time is always of the essence in those type of situations. Despite it being "mini", I'd hate to think if this had been a road game what could have happened.

It's been... a serious bummer of a season.

No doubt Kubes is very fortunate as far as all that goes.

come in my shame circle
Jets will still be above .500 after the 10th week of the NFL season.

Remember when the Jets were supposed to be the worst team in the league?

I hear ya bro.

Remember when the Browns were tanking the season when they traded away Trent Richardson?

FMT - avi bet?

Whaaaaa

There's no one who does it like he does. Why would you want to lose that.

I hate joke characters, and his is by far the most sad/annoying.

John Clayton on Mike and Mike was saying that the NFL is focusing on what Philbin knew, and if he really didnt know anything about this stuff why didnt he know what was going on with his team. Will be interesting to see what fallout there is from all this.

He also said 3 weeks was best case for Rodgers but it could be season ending depending on where the fracture is and the chance of re-injuring it.

Granted, we don't really know the severeness of whatever happened to Gary, but whatever it is, it could have been that much worse elsewhere.

I don't think the Texans are letting up as much info as they really have, which is understandable, but the media treating it like he stubbed his toe and will be back 24 hours later needs to give at least a little thought into what happened. Reasonably healthy (except for unhealthy amounts of stress) men don't just drop to the ground like that for no apparent reason usually.

Guys, I'm calling it. Carolina beats San Francisco this week. Cam Newton is on a hot streak now.

Laugh at me if I'm wrong on this.

Someone explain that to me, what does Niners -6 and Bengals -1 mean?

If Newton is on a hot streak, what are the Niners on? They've scored at least 30+ on each of the last 5 opponents.

Take 6 points off the 9ers final points and 1 point off the Bengals final points and then determine who would win. He needs the 9ers to score 7 more points then the Panthers and the Bengals to score 2 more points then the Ravens to win his bet.

For him to win the bet the 49ers have to win by more than 6 points and the Bengals have to win by more than 1 point.

Panthers have scored 30+ in each of the last 4 games while winning by 14+ points!!

If the Dolphins lose to Tampa Bay on Monday, they might as well pack it up and call it a season.

I was never that good at making bold predictions, but I'm sticking to it.

Holy fuck, the man is insane. I'm assuming he doesn't win if the Niners win by 10? or the Bengals win by 3?

Edit: nm. Still crazy.

No he does. As long as the Niners win by at least 7 and the Bengals win by at least 2, he wins the bet. If the Niners win by 6 or the Bengals win by 1, he pushes and gets his money back. If either the Niners win by less than 6 or Bengals win by less than 1 (i.e. lose), he loses his money.

So it should be a good game then ;) I'm definitely not saying we're a lock, I'd say Carolina is the 3rd hardest game we've got left on the schedule after @ the Saints and Vs the Seahawks.

Should be a good one, although I see a lot of overconfident 49ers fans saying this will be a blowout win for them.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't a little bit nervous of that myself...time for the Panthers to step up in weight class

CAR doesn't have to win, but they need to at least be competitive to kind of establish themselves as more than just beneficiaries of IRpocalypse 2013

Fuck McCoy and wisenhunt for throwing (literally) the game away. You would think rivers was smart enough to be like why are we throwing but no.

Other than Panthers @ 49ers and potentially Cowboys @ Saints, this week's schedule is horrific.

Edit: Missed Lions @ Bears. That should be decent too.

Is a season without Pittsburgh, Green Bay and NYG really even a season worth having?

Let's have a lockout. Season is cancelled anyway, lets take some time to solve any lingering labor disputes.

I'm happy with the standard one week, although if you want to get creative/have more riding on it we can come up with something better.

Only thing I ask is no anime avatars. This is a condition I will include in all future avi bets!
Panthergirl wasn't anime.

There is no need for that condition with me as there is no one in human history that deserves the shame of an anime avatar

You should apply this to baseball, is a season without the Cardinals and Yankees worth having? ;)
