Things To Know, Before You Go:

Our doors will open 6pm in most locations, but check with your local store for opening times. This title will be available for pick-up at Midnight.

Between 6pm and midnight is when we finalize your transaction. You will need to go to the register to receive your finalized purchase receipt. Finalizing the transaction is where we take your deposit, partial or full, and create a sale receipt. Our associates will assign you a Guest # to hold a place in line for you when midnight hits.

Don't forget to bring your trade-ins to take advantage of our great trade specials to reduce the price of your game. Everybody likes to save money!

You don't have to arrive at 6pm. You can show up anytime between 6pm and midnight. However, by coming early, you can get your trade-ins and transaction processed sooner and be assigned a Guest # closer to the front of the line.

Our staff will begin organizing our customers into line in Guest # order just before midnight so we will be ready to get you your PS4 purchases as quickly as possible when midnight hits.

The last midnight launch I went to was for The Last of Us and they didn't have this system in place. Granted, it could be because it wasn't that packed.

Midnight launch is the only reason I went with GameStop. Can't wait. I'll set everything up, get the update, and hit some Resogun before hitting the hay. I have the day off work on Friday, so I'll have all day to play and most of the weekend.

Awesome. I'm not sure if I'll go at midnight, but I'm guessing I probably will, even if it's just to play a bit of Resogun before I have to go to sleep. I've never done a console midnight launch before. Actually, the only systems I've bought at launch were the PSP and the Vita, and I ordered the PSP online.

Depends on the models of your system. I don't remember off the top of my head. I go into work today so I'll check, roughly 60-100/110 depending on your model. (doesn't include the 90%)

Unless they have extra PS4s beyond what's allocated for preorders, you'd be out of luck. If they do, then I guess you sit and wait.

I don't know man, this is just my opinion on the matter and have no idea how its gonna work exactly but for instance, out our store, we have around 80 something ps4 preorders. That's already 80 box's(granted they are slim ) to fill up space. I don't think there's gonna much room for more then that. I don't expect us to get all that many extras. Doubt it'll be over 5/10.

That's pretty much what my store told me. I went earlier today to pay it off fully and the associate told me that I'm part of the "first shipment" (which I didn't know about 'til today). Second shipment people will not get it day one, even if there was a pre-order. Don't know if it's the same case for other stores though. I guess bigger stores like Best Buy will be the best bet for walk-ins.

Are you in US or Canada?

As far as I know all stores in US are getting their pre-orders filled and extra.
