Really impressive OT Silky.

- I like the small history of the franchise. It helps give some context to this new release.
- Also love the systems breakdown. Very informative.

Might I suggest that in the price section at the top add "Free". So something like:
Price: Free/$20/$40/$60 (Details Below.)

I just bolded it for clarity sake. People should be made aware that they can try the game out for free w/o spending $20, like you showed below in the chart.

Just a humble suggestion. Regardless, great work and thank you for the OT.

I got to play this yesterday at the Microsoft Store near me.. And wow, completely different from what I expected. I couldn't do anything! XD

But as I got to my second match, I figured out everything and started getting combo's down. Even did a double ultra on my friend using Thunder. Heh. It was so amazing. But I had to leave, only go to use Sadira and Thunder, the two I wanted to use. Couldn't get the hang of her, but I had little time anyways.

Also the visuals are true, its so amazing in person! So damn clean! I just loved it.

Can't wait for the game!

[I thought I was for sure going to win with "My Ultra Is Better Than Yours" :p]

The XBone is not available in my region nor will it work in my region atm =/

I want this badly, but I don't have the funds to get an Xbone anytime soon. So glad to see KI being resurrected after all these years of hints and rumours.

Nice work on the OT Silky! I like the title, as it's actually something that'll last beyond "Quick Joke" status, and it says something about the game.

I'm so glad I got to play this at TFC, because my area has tried to make it impossible to get any other Pre-release play beyond that, ha. Which is really annoying! But it's close now, so... little issue.

Man, am I glad to be startin' out a new gen with a fighter! It's what I spend most my time playing, and most launch platformers / adventures / shooters are things that normally get lost to time for me (save the rare case of something like Mario 64).

But a fighter that starts here, and actually will continue to grow? Best Launch Game Ever, lol. SOOOOO much potential, and I'll be right here to try and force them to follow through as best they can...

they said the system works in every region, as long as you have a payment method for that region.

so... You get Japanese Xbox cards if you want to buy from that region

its not geolocked by ip address

as far as I know, anyway

One of the few games making it hard to get a PS4 first. Consumed every bit of info so far and I'm hyped as hell to play the game.

Said it a few times already but it's been really good to see the team at Double helix make people eat serious amounts of crow. Long may it continue.


Edit - Oh and if I can I will happily give away my code for the game.

Nice OT!

I got to play the game for over an hour, maybe close to two, at a Microsoft Store earlier today. I loved it. I mostly played as Sadira, and she's a lot of fun to use. I was getting wins nonstop and pulling off Ultras like it was nobody's business...until a Glacius player, who had played the game before, gave me a hell of a few fights. I beat him the first time, but then we had a close second match where he just barely beat me. Most matches were like that, but there were two where he just straight up tore me to pieces. It was a lot of fun, though. Can't wait to play more.

There's a tournament there next week, and the winner gets an Xbox One and all of the launch games, so you bet your ass I'm gonna be there trying to win one. Really hope I win! I want to play this game at home sooooooooo badddd.

The game is gorgeous, by the way.

#1 for me (i'd have chosen 2 for the shoulders, but i digged SO MUCH the idea of having the anchor inside his leg!) and i really like the shield made out of some creature's skull.

It sucks to admit that IMHO most of these designs were probably better than the cool yet VERY traditional/safe Spinal we've got.

You don't even need to do that. From what I recall you can use your native XBL profile regardless of country. When you setup your XB1 you'll have to select a country (US will probably be easiest).

The trick is, is that in order to buy something from XBL you'll need currency from the country you selected. Since you likely don't have a payment instrument with a billing address in the US, you'll have to buy US XBL cards (such as: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F3ZMTKQ/?tag=neogaf0e-20). You should then be able to redeem that to your account and purchase content just fine.

When support for your country is available you can just change it in the system settings and you're good to go to use your normal billing instrument.

With that said, I would wait until next week as someone is surely going to try this and we can see how it works in practice.

As an old fan of the series, I've been pretty disappointed with the character redesigns, and I basically stopped following this completely after DH seemed to keep forgetting to announce or deliver on what they said they would, but I wish this game the best and I'm sure I'll give it a whirl whenever I decide I'm ready to fork over for the XB1.

If you haven't play killer instinct before, try the dojo mode first. If you try to combo using light punch, medium punch, that may not work.

I agree with this to a degree. Glad as gamers we are getting this new KI but I am not really feeling much of the character redesigns nor the business model they are following to release this game.
