Joke post right? If not it's noticeable on my 37 inch. I do sit about three feet from it though. The vaseline has been washed away.

The 1080p is great, but honestly, the AA might be a bigger deal. Losing the awful shimmering on jagged edges on the rigging of boats is a godsend.

lol. I think the difference is even more pronounced on small displays because people tend to sit closer to them.

Great that they fixed it, but all these 1080p games are going to spoil me for the games that don't run native 1080. My fiancee is not a gamer nor is she technical person by any means but when she saw me playing Killzone she immediately asked why the screen was so clear. I'm sorry but there is a difference between up scaled and native and its worth making a big deal about if a game doesn't have it.

Difference is big even with shitty compressed jpegs.
I saw it instantly on a 24" monitor, this will make a huge difference on a larger screen but it's also pretty apparent on a smaller one.

That's ridiculous. 1600x900 -> 1920x1080+AA
You can see it's a LOT cleaner/sharper, makes the 900p look blurry. Look at the daytime ss in full from previous post and not the gif.

it will, yes. when I logged in via remote play to my PS4, I could see the update notes for the new version and AC4 had moved all the way to the left of the menu. my system had been in standby. such an awesome feature.
I guess 4k will be noticeable only on 150" screens, then.

Will download when I get home...to play on my 70" TV.
I'm almost happy I'm having to wait until the 29th for the PS4 launch here in the UK. Now that AC4 is patched up to how it should be, the initial PSN troubles over and hopefully Battlefield 4 will be fixed up by then too. It'll hopefully be smooth sailing for me.

Yes, and I am a plus member, but I plan to play AC4 on the bus on the way home.
I know I won't notice the resolution difference on my Vita but still.

Start the PC Version, set it to two different resolution, and tell me that again, LOL.
