I can't find the date, but underneath the console it says Made in Japan!? Isn't everything from the Foxcon factory in China?
Hmm interesting. I think some are made in japan also
We will end up lost in there so better to start a new one.

Simply games have a banner on your order info for both xbone and ps4. They are dispatching Thursday by dpd for delivery Friday. 22 and 29, so no luck with them either.
Gameseek are still showing my ps4 as preorder still.
It looks like the uk has had a warning and no one is breaking the street dateon either console.
But on the flip side, we have more stock than the rest of Europe.

A few years back, I was working at an NZ electronics retailer and were dealing with a Chinese family who were looking at computers, and the first thing on their checklist before tech specs was it's origin of manufacture. If it was "Made in China" they didn't want it, which I found rather ironic

Pretty sure they've always charged on despatch. Prior to it they simply ask the bank if you have money.

Guys I've concluded that sleep should no longer be applicable to wait time. Using this rationale I have determined that we only need to wait approx 5.3 days.

16 x remaining full days (around 8 days from this point in time) = 128

If some people are receiving consoles saying "Made in Japan" then it gives me hope that the Chinese-made units are just to cover the extensive demand that is required for this launch.
Hey guys, I wanted to ask something. Sony invited me and my colleague to go to the launch event in Rome. Thing is we can't leave to go back to Milan right after the event since it probably ends after midnight, which leaves us without a place to sleep. We don't know Rome that well and we have no relatives, so we thought about couch surfing. Since the event ends kinda late, it would be best to find someone who is also going. Would any of you kind fellow Italian GAF people have a couch or two on which we could spend the night? We will of course compensate you for your troubles.

Nearly had to cancel my order today, which I have had since May
My PC is about to give up after 6 years and I need it for work so I was contemplating getting a PS4 next year instead. Thankfully though I managed to move some money about and get a new one sorted! So new PC build and a PS4 next week, Christmas has definitely come early this year hehehe

So, how many if you are gonna be streaming via the in game twitch or ustream option come the 29th?
Probably me, I'm thinking of purchasing a camera to stream with too but I'm unsure, £50 is a lot of money just to have my face added to streams.

Yeah I was thinking that, at the end of the day it's a novelty to me. That'll wear off, and I'll be left thinking why I spent that much money on it.
Yeah, when I stream on PC I don't use my webcam either, I don't see the point of it other than "humanising" the voice, and to be honest we're here for the vidya games, not the human playing 'em.
I am but I'm doing it privately to friends who can't afford one yet
After this thread, twitter and numerous other sources it's put me in the mindset of thinking that sooner rather then later I should leave my love of ShopTo and use other sites.
What's given you a dislike for them?

ShopTo used to be the best, they were very cheap, delivered very fast and had great customer service. Now they're just fast.
Their prices are now akin to GAME's and their customer service is truly horrific, they were being very rude and arrogant to me and dozens of other customers on Facebook and threatened to cancel our pre-orders, just for asking for clarification on the Mega Bundle as people who ordered later were being offered it and those that ordered at the start had some how been skipped in the queue.
Thank you for the response, I think after they've shipped me my PS4 that'll be the last of my dealings with them.
I do enjoy how fast they are, though the picture feature they have seldom works and when I do get a parcel picture it showed me that the label was improperly attached, making me worry for a few days until they told me it would've been replaced.
