I'd like to reinforce that they do work because the us.playstation network services Canada too, since there is no separate Canada playstation network site.
edit: Just found that there is a Canadia Playstation twitter though and somebody asked this question. And the answer is Yes, they will work!

I figured so, since Canada gets the same PS+ deals as the US (probably also accounts for why there's somehow no tax on PSN stuff here) but it's good to have that confirmed. Thanks!

Just got back from Gamestop, this thing was flying off the shelves. Practically every single person I saw buying anything or heard talking was getting it, I was legitimately surprised. Seems to be popular, a steep discount on this was apparently a good call by Sony, especially with it being needed for online play on PS4 (which I heard people in line explaining to other people), get them in now for cheap so they just keep on trucking with it when they get a PS4.

Got my code from Gamestop but it won't redeem on PSN. I tried 3 ways:
1 - PC via website - This code cannot be redeemed on the website
2 - PS4 - Says it's a 12-Year PS+, then craps out when I hit next with an error code
3 - Vita - Loses connection to Server error when I get to the same place.

Got $2 in groupon bucks when I just logged in, and no tax (in NY), so a good deal.They gave me a $1 discount for some reason with no tax charged and free shipping. Total: $28.99. I had some groupon bucks so I essentially got this for free which is a great deal for me.
