I didn't like him at first. I thought he was a whiny little bitch with manufactured weak ass daddy issues but throughout the game I really grew to appreciate the little motherfucker. By the end he became one of my favorite FF male protags.

I am all in for an FFX-3 where
Tidus keeps dying in increasingly ridiculous ways including but not limited to falling off the airship while trying to hide yet another awkward mid-fight boner.

Sounds interesting to me these are the kind of hard hitting issues that FF has always been afraid to tackle.

This is a bold new direction and one I am glad they took.I for one applaud the story telling here.

What happened to Nojima? He was the chosen one. He was one of the few guys not deeply involved in FF13 (Scenario Concept) and its sequels.

All I wanted was FFX-3 with Auron's quest. Was that really too hard?

I firmly believe Serah is the single worst thing to ever come out of a FF. However if they bring out a X-3 and I have to suffer Ms Booby Envy I will have to rethink that.

Tidus is an unsent
but this is just so so bad.

I mean it was already bad but every new bit I hear about it somehow makes it exponentially worse.

I don't even hate modern SE, hell I love FFXIII series and hyped for LR as well but this is just fucked up on some other level. Complete character assassination of two of my most favorite characters in the entire franchise.

This goes both ways, and honestly, it's kinda hard for some to take this. I don't think this is outright character assassination - we don't even know the whole story, or how this'll pan out, but it's just odd and weird and we won't get a final opinion till release.

Or maybe when they announce the game.

That's really easy to explain. He doesn't like them the way he likes Yuna, and Tidus has always been kind of a clutz.
