I would rather they take their sweet time and make it as good as possible.
I've got Forza to keep me plenty busy in the meantime.

I can't see it being March unless it is right at the start. Not sure they'd release against inFamous.

I'm discounting MLB as it only sells about 3 copies in Europe and Europe is probably where Driveclub will sell best.

When its ready. Hasn't buggy or obviously rushed launch software not calmed peoples desire to have everything yesterday. You just saw what happened with unrealistic launch deadlines. Let these guys make the game right.

People complaining about a drought. Are you new to gaming with PS4? Go play some of your backlog or new releases on the trillion other devices that play games. Remember this time and dont make the same mistake with PS5 or XB2 and hold off buying one till there is a steady release of games if this kind of thing really upsets you.

I bought one, knew what I was getting involved with. Knew the launch games would be hit and miss, knew of a possible drought. Didn't care, there is no way this thing was getting a price drop before I would have theoretically bought one down the line so no harm getting it now and have enjoyed a handful of titles but I am playing a long game on this console. The entertainment over the next 5-6 years will be stellar.

MLB is cancelled. Take2 cancelled theirs so Sony can cancel theirs too.

I guess if Polyphony would have known that Evolution would rival them in their quest for delays they would have allowed them to use the Gran Turismo name after all.

I do hope that Sony is not hoping that Indie games (most of which have been released elsewhere already) will sell many PS4s. While the PS4 has a nice headstart, MS can easily turn it around if Titanfall sells and they release Halo later that year (again talking about US only, MS can do nothing to turn their fate around elsewhere).

While developing on the PS4 is easier than on the PS3 there is still the increase in graphics detail (going from 720p to 1080p means 4times the detail) which increases development costs considerably. So I am not sure on how many games Sony can release this year of their 20 exclusives in development. Evolution Studios are not amateurs, they released a couple of (very good) Motorstorm games on the PS3, so if they struggle with a racing game (their expertise) then Bend most certainly is struggling with The Order. And ND could be struggling with Uncharted (of which we haven't seen much anyway, so who knows where they are in the dev cycle anyway). I think at least one of those two (if not both) will not be in 2014.

Note that MS has an advantage with their 720p games, the cost of a 720p game on Xbone is about the same as on the 360/PS3, so I think they can release Halo this year.

What did I just read? 1080p games don't take more work than 720p games... Higher Poly model games take more work than lower poly model games and higher particle count games take more work than lower particle count games and higher resolution textures take more work than lower resolution textures But Resolution is not linked to the amount of work needed to create a game. PS4 games, from what we know, are considerably easier to make than XB1 games.

Also I feel Like I need to say that Driveclub, MLB, Infamous will all be released before E3 and uncharted and The order will very likely be released in 2014. That's 5. Not to mention FF14 and Deepdown Beta's are appearing on February 22nd.

Honestly I still Think Driveclub will hit the end of February and be in the march PS+(which starts at the end of Feb in EU) But if it isn't February, it'll definitely be April, the Game as looking great in the stuff they released in November.

I remember people wondering if Driveclub and GT6 would be eating into each others sales. HAH. Hope they get it sorted soon, had some hype for it at launch.

I absolutely LOVE racing games and while I've enjoyed NFS R very much, it's just not the game I was hoping it would be.

Drive Club looks to be my jam. I absolutely cannot wait to buy this and insert it into my PS4 video game system, and play it.

I want this game to be good, but my gut tells me it sucks. Sony didn't willingly delay this game, it must have had serious issues.

I wish they'd just have made a next gen Motorstorm game. I can get behind that.

Thank god it's PS+.

I also have PS+ but I'll be buying this retail. May even get a collectors edition, if it's available.

I'm with you. People panicking about droughts should take a look at the backlog on their shelf/hard drive and realize it's not a thing.

I got my PS4 at the midnight launch and frankly I kinda don't care if nothing else comes out for it until September. I'm still trying to retire my PS3.

And I just bought a Vita, and fuck me PS+ gives you like five free games!!! Just for VITA! But I'd drop them all to play Drive Club. I can't wait to join a club. Can't wait!!

I have no idea why people expect Evolution to show off gameplay footage of their game every week when it's still in development. Remember when they did that pre-e3-August? People took giant dumps all over the game and bitched about every little detail. If I was in their position, I would wait until there's a month or so before release so people can see the game in it's retail form.
I'm guessing you missed the gamersyde GIFs? It looked great and showed more than 1 car on the track.

You make good points, we still haven't seen Titanfall running on the Xbox One or the 360. However, there are some that are so hyped for it they don't even seem to notice....
