"In Mario Party games, the outcome of every die roll is completely independent of the actual timing with which you hit the block. Note how Mario gets the same 5 no matter when he hits the block. The die rolls are decided at the beginning of the turn and all interaction the player has is merely an illusion.:
Holy shitttttttt.
So basically the outcome of Mario Party games are rigged?
The new shocking secret revealed (remember that thread? About the clouds and bushes being the same sprite in SMW).
I didn't know about this btw. Awesome.
So basically the outcome of Mario Party games are rigged?

SupperMarioBroth is a fantastic blog. There's stuff like this on there constantly. The one from the other day about how AI in Mario Kart will clip through bananas if they're far away from you was amazing.
Don't know what's worse to discover years later:
- This
- Finding out how to control the rotating teeth in the Carnival stage of Sonic 3.
- Finding out forward->forward->punch by Axel in Streets of Rage kills everything.
Whatever. Not knowing helped me develop problem solving skills as a kid.

I'm not sure who's joking and who isn't ITT. Do people really think this wasn't known before now? All of the doubt/shade being thrown at people who say they already knew. How young are you guys?
I'm surprised you didn't know this. All enemies in SMW can be defeated by sliding down stairs.

I believe the manual is referring to the fact if Yoshi swallows the shell you are holding in his mouth, he will lose the fly/stomp power the blue and yellow shells afford you. (Yoshi automatically swallows items in his mouth after a certain amount of time.)
People didn't know this?
