All that effort, totally worth it.

Edit: LOL, I like how the quoted version doesn't even look that bad.

I hilariously approve of the unexpected direction this thread has taken.

TOCA looks really nice...that was a 2006 game?!

Call me crazy. But I hope next gen approaches the level of Graphical fidelity these ENBs produce. I am just wowed.

I try to lead by example by posting a 12MB original .bmp screenshot by it seems y'all keep on using those inferior file types.

This looks really great. What are all of your settings? Are you forcing anything into it through the driver or is this all through DSFix? It looks much better than when I played it maxed.
Well, I run the game at 3200x1800 with SCAO at the highest quality and intensity level, though what probably makes more of the difference are my SweetFX settings. I only use the DPX shader and some curves, but the DPX shader alone helps create something of an 'old movie' look, which I think fits very nicely with the game's aesthetic.

This is what I'm using if you want to try it:
Code:
   /*-----------------------------------------------------------.
  /                      Cineon DPX settings                    /
  '-----------------------------------------------------------*/
#define Red   15.0  //[1.0 to 15.0]
#define Green 15.0  //[1.0 to 15.0]
#define Blue  15.0  //[1.0 to 15.0]

#define ColorGamma 0.75 //[0.1 to 2.5] Adjusts the colorfulness of the effect in a manner

similar to Vibrance. 1.0 is neutral.
#define DPXSaturation 1.0 //[0.0 to 8.0] Adjust saturation of the effect. 1.0 is neutral.

#define RedC   0.25  //[0.6 to 0.2]
#define GreenC 0.25  //[0.6 to 0.2]
#define BlueC  0.25  //[0.6 to 0.2]

#define Blend 0.25 //[0.0 to 0.1] How strong the effect should be.

   /*-----------------------------------------------------------.
  /                        Curves settings                      /
  '-----------------------------------------------------------*/
#define Curves_contrast 0.25  //[-1.0 to 1.0] The amount of contrast you want

// -- Advanced curve settings --
#define Curves_formula 7      //[1|2|3|4|5|6|7] The constrast s-curve you want to use.

Well the way I spot it is the color of the text (from pure white to grey) and how thin the text looks. So in this case:
First thing: 2nd one is png
2nd thing: 1st thing is png
3rd thing: 1st one is png

I hope I am not imagining those differences I see in color and slight text thickness

Well damn, I've been converted

With a breathtaking 80 lines of color resolution.

I think these are actually kind of aesthetically pleasing, in a quaint way.

THIS IS TERRIFYING. (I never did fall off, but the possibility was always in the back of my mind.)
