Any advice or tips is welcome. This is my first foray into downsampling at this res and with these GPU's.

I downsampled from 1800p and used irfanview. Saved as PNG with compression option set to 9. It said 0 for no compression but not sure if I should do that.

Looking back at Crysis 1 I can really say that the faces were horrible. I could not take them seriously.

Crysis 3 has so much details on the faces and look a lot more realistic.

The only sure fire way for gameplay bits is to restart the race, and press screenshot at exactly the same time as enter. maybe not worth it.

FUN FACT!

I was using 4xSMAA setting and was playing 90% of the game at 10 fps!

It wasn't until the part with the giant sattelite when I had to turn it down and I didn't even get any shots from that part...

It's almost literally a slideshow, so every level I stealth VERY slowly while taking in sights and take errbody out in quick blows, one by one.

The inner area is not much for screenshots, but the fact that that satellite is rotating and casting shadows over the inner area as well as some of the surrounding area is enough to melt my legs. At 45 fps, it looks glorious even with 720p and 4xSMAA. I can't wait till I get my GTX 780(s).

The thing is, all of those screenshots were taken with stock settings, no mods, on hardware that's now 4-5 years old.

In motion, they're 100x more impressive. Still blows me the fuck away.

quite surprised with how well this game runs on my 7850, all settings very high (post processing and shadows high) and 2xsmaa at 1080p and I never dipped below 30fps at which I caped the game because I hate all that vsync switching it does otherwise.

The only problem I have can be seen in the second picture, my weapons have a gigantic and wrong positioned reflection in the water.

Quite surprised how nice this games (Arma 2) looks once you turn off the horrible post processing.
hdr/bloom or somthing does funny things tho when you look at the ground for too long the game decides to turn on the nova filter or something...
