You've done a great job helping that game hold up in 2016, nice work.

In all seriousness, who cares. The game is debated to death online, if you think a screenshot 'spoils' the game for you, don't come here. Gee you might go to <random castle> in Dark Souls 3. I bet you also have to beat a couple of bosses and will die a lot. Oops, did I just spoil the game for someone? I understand spoilers of major plot points are bad, but there have been many screenshots of buildings / bosses in this thread: for someone who hasn't played the game, they will all spoil something for someone. Looking at screenshots from a game you don't want to have spoiled for you is therefore not recommended, if you still do that, then hey, you took a risk. I also doubt people will skip a spoiler marked picture: it's in human nature: 'oh! something is made hidden, but I can still look at it!' and *click*: a castle.
It's right in the editor for a post (the black s button at the right) the [spoiler ] tag
*sigh* This "random castle" is actually far from random and has significant lore/story relevance to the game, and was a big surprise for many people (including myself) when you arrive there if you have played the first game.In all seriousness, who cares. Moreover, the rules state you shouldn't post spoilers for games released in the past 2 months and DS3 isn't even 1 month old. So yeah, I don't care for that specific post because I had already beaten the game, but I'm not in the wrong for pointing out that he should be more considerate and respect the rules in the OP.
that's the thing: what is it that makes this a spoiler and not a shot about a given other castle, for people who have not played the game? (I haven't, so for me it's just another castle. If I see other shots of castles, or that bridge with the blue / moon background which looks great, that too might spoil things as you already know 'you'll go there'). What I meant was: if you are afraid of being spoiled by a game's details, then don't look at screenshots, especially this thread: Screenshots will always spoil things for you: you'll know what to expect etc. All I'm saying is: don't be so harsh on people posting a given shot about some game that you find spoily: in that case it's impossible to post any shot from any game within 2 months after release as every shot will reveal some details you'll run into. (e.g. a Russian base in ROTTR to name a simple thing. Noone cared (and rightfully so), because we were all eager to get the shots out.)i gotta agree with Morrigan in this specific case, "that" is a big reveal in this game. (it's not so serious, i mean, it happens, but if there are rules she's right about that).
It's a big spoiler if you haven't played DS3 but have played DS1. You know, sequels, they're like that sometimes!that's the thing: what is it that makes this a spoiler and not a shot about a given other castle, for people who have not played the game?
So you are saying the rules in the OP shouldn't exist because "something" might always spoil "someone" out there? No, that's not how it works. Sure, whether or not something is a spoiler is debatable, but that one isn't for anyone who's played Dark Souls 1 and is waiting to play Dark Souls 3. I don't know why you keep arguing and reducing it to "whatever everyyyything is a spoiler!" I mean FFS it's not hard to not be inconsiderate. What I meant was: if you are afraid of being spoiled by a game's details, then don't look at screenshots, especially this thread: Screenshots will always spoil things for you: you'll know what to expect etc.
Forza Apex 1440p Ultra.

You might be annoyed about this inconsiderate shot placed in plain view and all that, and you have every right to be, that's not what I'm arguing about, but in other cases you might ignore it or even spoil a game for another person unknowingly, just because *you* didn't think it was a spoiler. So you are saying the rules in the OP shouldn't exist because "something" might always spoil "someone" out there? Where do you access your photos? I can't find them...

lol, what? Now you're policing my tone? I initially just made a one-liner quip adding to jim's gentle ribbing, if you'll recall, and then you started ranting and going "who cares" and making your own sarcastic, dismissive passive-aggressive comments. So uh... might not want to throw all them stones in that glass house, mate.A bit less snark and a bit more friendliness is perhaps better, right? It's not hard to not be inconsiderate, it's also easy to say instead 'hey buddy, that's a spoiler, please put that between spoiler tags' instead of being passive aggressive
Fuuuuu the detail on the armour <3 Playing it on PS4 in 1080p seems so blurry in comparison haha.

DO IT, you know you want to!These screenshots almost make me want to get back into Souls games.
Almost.
DO IT, you know you want to!
Lol. I was pretty much going to say the same thing. I find the whole argument absurd. Typically people respond with "alright, my bad, Ill remove the spoilery image" but instead someone decided to defend it.So you are saying the rules in the OP shouldn't exist because "something" might always spoil "someone" out there?
No, I've fallen out of love with them. I like the style and look which is what got me through Demons/DS1/DS2/BB but at this point the games aren't worth the time investment.
People have said this about all of the games when they release. I think I'm done until maybe Steam's summer sale.I think this is one of the only game series that IS worth the time investment. The gameplay is just so good. I completed DS3 and still wanted more, so I'm anxiously awaiting for some DLC to drop.
