Regardin Rise of the Tomb Raider: The Cinematic Tools are really nice, but the Freeze Time function doesn't work in cutscenes (tried different versions but to no avail). Does anyone know or have an idea on how to get it to work or an alternative Cheat Engine table that I can use?
Is it worth getting AC Unity just to look at it if I have a 1070?
I like AC Unity so yes! It's gorgeous, I keep trying to play some AC Syndicate and am underwhelmed by the visuals because aside from some bad looking npcs up close and LOD at distance in screens, in motion Unity looks truly next gen and even still does with a good PC.
Also every time I see The Crew in this thread it makes me want to buy it, even though I hated the beta back then. Someday I will pick it up.
Can you get 1080/60fps in Unity on a 1070 with most settings on these days?
I would think so but I can't say for sure. I just ran around in it on my 1080 and would get like mostly 90+ with some drops to 50's but I think that's limited because of my i5 4670k still gets maxed out in that game. My gpu usage was only around 50% at 1080p. Turning up the res didn't hurt my performance much at all and actually a little more consistent around 60 fps when gpu was actually being fully used. Until at 4k it runs at a fairly solid 45 fps.
So yeah I think to get completely stable high framerates it depends on your cpu holding you back and the 1070 will probably handle it easily. I used to play at 1440p locked 30 fps on my 970. Actually 1440p runs better than 1080p for me right now weirdly since gpu usage goes up a lot.

I don't think timestop has ever worked properly in cut scenes.
If you're like me and find peace by just running around a huge and beautiful map listening to some music, this game is for you. If you want a great racing game, look somewhere else.
I am like that, considering it's why I still enjoy No Man's Sky. Sounds good to me
Inevitable pano of this scene:
Well, panos are the only way to push more than 14MP pixels without crashing (for us without Titans) and the only way to get portraits.
I'd rather notjust look at screenshots on steam.
