I promise I'm not being cheeky, but you should pay even less attention in the future.

I am far from being one of those folks who appear to derive a significant portion of their self-worth from the size of their GPU, but it's pretty clear that PC games absolutely murder console games when it comes to pricing. This is just another example.

Anyway, I already have Max Payne and the Darkness, so it's really a matter of whether I want to make time for Spec Ops. The demo was pretty ho-hum for me.

We don't have Galactic Civilizations 2, not even sure what that one is. I'm surprised you can't find CKII though...it comes up fine for me, what are you typing in?

We'll have an Ubisoft sale in August. I pushed for July but it wasn't in the cards :(.

The Saboteur performed "ok" it didn't crush but it wasn't a failure. I'm trying to work it into a $14.99 EA bundle.

GalCiv2 (92% Metacritics) is a Stardock game, the same company that made the Sins of A Solar Empire series, which you might offer? Anyway, doesnt matter then. Thanks for checking though :)

Hm, maybe I was on a different language version of Amazon. Popping up fine for me now. Looking forward to the sale :)

I was in the same situation a few days ago. I bought the game and just started playing. To me the game seems great so far. Like the graphical style and the the dialogue and overall tone of the game seems less stilted and up its own ass than the first one (which I still really liked).

Thinking of the X-Com pack and 2K strategy pack. Never played a civ or x-com game before. Hopefully either Amazon or Steam will have a good sale on Arma II.

Damn, Amazon has my number with that Paradox pack. I'll definitely be jumping on the big one...only thing in there I already have is Majesty 2 but I don't think I have all the dlc for it.

Any chance of Street Fighter 4 Arcade going back to $10? I missed the last sale by a day, and due to a couple specific reasons actually don't want to buy this on Steam.

Well, MP3 IS a proper max payne game. I'd recommend doing this: IF you're a fan of the game, you should play it in hardest difficulty possible. this is the only right way to play MP3. otherwise, play it in normal which seems to be designed with casual gamers in mind.

Will wait on MP3 for the holiday sales. But will double dip on Bioshocks. I want Vice City but why won't they include 3. The hell with SA. I can't redo that but VC and 3 are worth it, if only for the god tier music.

That's my pet peeve. Shouldn't great gameplay be great on any difficulty? Almost like how running around the castle in Mario 64 is still fun?

Yeah I've been seeing that more and more often. That's basically a large reason why I'm considering building myself a gaming PC and consigning my consoles to the "only use for exclusives" bucket.

FYI guys, I'm about 10 feet under water today so I can't go back and quote everyone who asked.

I just got sign of from Paradox to re-issue Steam Keys via email for Victoria II and Sword of the Stars Complete Collection to everyone who purchased the original Plentiful Paradox Package.

We'll likely deliver these via email, since it is a Friday though it probably won't happen until early next week. I'm hoping to have emails out before the holiday though (4th of July).

So the address trick for us EU people... has anyone that's tried it ever been contacted by their bank or had any other problems like that? I'd like to buy the Dragon Age pack and the Plentiful Paradox package when it goes up for sale.


Edit: Just wanted to agree with the post above, great work Tony. Even though I'm outside the US it's been good to see Amazon bring some competition lately to Steam and a lot of the deals are very well priced. I think offering Steam and non-Steam keys where possible is definitely a good strategy, it lets people who don't like Steam buy the games and gives us Steam users a good option, so it's the best of both worlds.

I just hope Amazon UK can get their download service sorted soon, it seems to have been rumoured forever at this point, last I heard though it's been delayed again - outside of the US I think only Germany has game downloads at the moment.

I havent ever heard of a problem due to that for Amazon payments.

German here, considering the sales and prices AND that I am saving 20% by buying US games on Amazon instead of German ones (10$=10€)... who cares >_>

I'm another one who passed on DA2 but now that it's dirt cheap I am interested. However, I know there are some DLC for it and I've always kind of told myself to wait till it all gets bundled together. Yet that still hasn't happened anywhere. I guess the fact that it never happened for Mass Effect 2 either does not bode well for it ever happening.
