So I'll stick my head over the parapet for a minute...
First things first, E3 is not just the opening presentations.
You may or may not know but we're fully playable on the E3 show floor, plus we've got folk on the ground doing press presentations and more. We're certainly not hiding the game away! In fact we're eager to see peoples hands on comments.
It's hard to show everything you're doing in a short video, especially when it's in a presentation with another 51 games
It was our goal to do a proper Crackdown Campaign game and whilst we might not be dropping buildings, there is a hell of a lot of destruction in the game. I'm sure soon enough you'll see some of the new toys we've made let loose on the world, not least what happens when you destroy a street full of traffic.
If you can hold judgement till you get a better look at some actual gameplay, you might just be pleasantly surprised.
We've got an amazing team on the game - it's a real labour of love.
Right back to work, these games don't make themselves
lol you literally just came up with an entire online assumption of negativity from one amazon multiplayer mode blurb 😂. let them reveal the entire multiplayer before coming to these type of assumptions.
this is why the demo was terrible ms has to do better with showcasing their games

Just realized that Crackdown 3's release date of Nov. 7 is sandwiched between COD:WWII (Nov. 3) and Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Nov. 17)...
I'm not knocking the game at all, but IMO any game that comes out around these two games is facing an uphill battle, sales wise.
Yeah, but then they demoed the game within a city environment. That's what I meant, sounds like we're not getting that but instead some kind of arena with two strongholds and the objective is to wreck the opposing teams stronghold.
What happened to drop a building on them? Them being lieutenants or kingpins?

I think what would calm the nerves is confirming the city wide destruction is still there for MP.
If you can few friends and just mess around dropping buildings on each other that be great.
Im willing to drop a full pre order if the full city wide destruction is till intact.
I'm worried now. For a game that has been in development this long, it's looking pretty average.

No destruction when firing the rockets ?

That was already confirmed yesterday.
It was confirmed 4K 30fps from the devs on the livestream yesterday.

Sumo's biggest solo project was ruining LittleBigPlanet.
Destruction is in a multiplayer game mode called Wrecking Zone
Campaign is your typical Crackdown experience.
Let's reminds ourselves of what they were promising with regard to destruction back in 2015...

They say that is for the multi-player mode which we haven't seen yet. So it may still be the same.
Let's reminds ourselves that this destruction is only in multiplayer

I just don't get it why you wouldn't show that during the show though. It's cool to hear from them that it's still in, but show it too then. I really hope the destruction hasn't been severely downgraded. But since the dev here said it's playable at E3 we definitely will be seeing something soon then on Youtube and Gamersyde i'm sure.

Pretty sure it's only the campaign that's playable on the show floor.
He says that the multiplayer will talked about at a vague later date. Maybe the night before release.
He said "very soon" i believe. Just E3 was for campaign. So my guess is Gamescom.

Watching it again, he says (paraphrasing) we'll talk about multiplayer at a later date. No mention of very soon.
Also thinking Crews is going to be the new announcer.
I'm sure this will be a good game, but this was my most excited showing at Microsoft's conference and definitely my largest disappointment yet.
