It even doubled up as a games machine, as it played ZX Spectrum games. Best looking console ever.
Wat, I never knew that! Did it play CPC games too? I'd never noticed it has 2 keyboards until now either.

Possibly my favourite mock-up so far ... my old PS2 appears to be bulletproof and is still going strong today, they would look amazing next to each other!
PS2-4 uber alles
Since bluray players are being posted, I'll just leave this here
If sony was smart they would put a touch pad on the game system itself, that way you could navigate the menu's if you can't find your controller.
Would be amazing

Made a few changes:
Do you think Sony will not use a slot loading disk drive to reduce cost?
Love this design. If the PS4 glowed blue when you turn the console on, it would be the coolest thing ever.
This looks amazing, I kinda wish this was the real thing.Made a few changes:
Yes.
They look like they have a mild indent.
Looks like the same amount of indentation as the DS3 but outwards not inwards. Not bad. Or is it a lip at the bottom? In any case, its what we asked for.
It's because the PS3 triggers are not 'buttons'.yeah, i don't think most people really want it to be as pronounced as the 360 triggers. they would alienate those that love the current triggers if they curved them the other way too much. (ie: i hear a lot of racing game fans say they love the current triggers)
also, if you notice, the distance between the triangle button and the R1 button is a little shorter than on the DS3. i like that.

Not a massive fan of the shape, but I'd love the "brushed metal" look to carry over to the PS4.Since bluray players are being posted, I'll just leave this here

They feel like gas pedals.
And they are perfect.
Let's go with a retro ps4.
Wow. I love this. Do you know the model name? Would like to read about it.
In 1982, Sony unveiled "Goronta" at the Japanese Audio Fair. "Goronta" was a prototype CD player, incomplete but fully equipped with a vertical loading tray. The prototype was considered impractical by many in the business, and was never put into actual production. However, "Goronta" planted a seed that Sony was about to water.
Sexy photo.Yes.

I can already use my TV remote for that on PS3... On PS4 you can probably use your phone.
Still not liking the L&R2 buttons, they need a proper lip on the bottom or they need to curve away from the controller like real triggers do on the DS3. It looks like it would be quite easy for your fingers to slip of the L&R2 when they are pressed in.
This can be improved by making them looser. Less effort to squeeze them.
It's a 1981/82 prototype called "Goronta" that was never released.
Considering that I already accidentally press down the triggers on the current controller as is, I can't see how this would bea good thing in any way shape or form
Unfortunately they can't design the controller to suit every single quirk of everyone on the planet.
Yes.
They look like they have a mild indent.
True but the L&R2 issues of the DS3 are well known and hated while real triggers were seen as the perfect fix by pretty much everyone, logically they should have designed the L&R2 buttons based on the real triggers.
Obviously we wont know how well the redesign works until the controller is sitting in our hands but i'm not hopeful based on the pictures.
stilll missing start and select, i hope those will be not just touch areas
The best part is it looks like I can still play in my weirdo four-fingers-on-the-shoulders way.
