I don't have a fancy bench so if I'm sitting down it's because of a hangover or deep contemplation that requires all my bodily power.

How many times do you all shower a week?

I haven't done it since I was a kid but I think I'll try it for my evening shower. My morning one is too quick :(

A shower bench does not enhance the shower sitting experience. You miss the feel of the water filling up around you.

A bath is very different and does not come with the feeling of being just below the water level and feeling the water hit you from the shower head. The sensation is far better than how the water usually feels.

Sitting down in a hot shower is the best palliative for nausea that I know, and I've had more opportunities than I wanted or needed to put different methods to the test.

Your question implies an option of not showering every day. Therefore it is being considered odd. The fact that you mentioned your morning/evening showers should have been enough to deflect suspicion about your hygiene, however.

I do this. What i also find relaxing is running a nice hot bath and laying down so that your ears are underwater but your eyes aren't. Just listening to the soft, splashing sounds slowly turn to silence is incredibly peaceful.

highly recommend it.

when i caught the flu, i sat in the shower for a long time to help with the aches.

really helped a lot

i sit in the shower if im scraping the dead off my heels or washing my dogs. yes i wash my dogs in the shower with me. keeps them from trying to get out and it's much easier with a detachable shower head.

i used to know a guy that would sit in a hot shower to have a wank. one time he ended up passing out while trying to stand back up, fell and cracked his head open. left a nice scar on his forehead.

I can't say that I've ever done this. Unless there is some benefit to cleaning your body that I am not thinking of, it sounds like this is a waste of water.

i always lay down, spread eagle so i can get maximum water coverage. it's essential to having the cleanest taint in the biz.

I usually take a bath if I had a hard workout or I'm feeling sick. Our shower is a standup glass one and then we have a garden tub next to it. So sitting down in the shower would be kind of problematic for someone that's 6 feet tall like me. However, I have done it before we lived there and it is relaxing sometimes.

I used to sit on a plastic chair in the shower as a kid, but nowadays I don't sit down in the shower unless I want to fap which is not very often, at least not in the shower...

Sitting on the floor of my bathtub has never been appealing to me. When you put your back against the bathtub it's so freaking cold that I could never enjoy that.

Regarding sitting down and fapping, I find that it's more comfortable when you're lying back like you're relaxing while doing it. Fapping standing up is not very comfortable to me at all. But it's probably because I've done it lying down on my back all my life.

Did the right thing
IV done this when I was really drunk to help sober me and when I'm very very tired, ill sit and let the water drip down my head. The Combination of the sound the water makes, the feeling of the water as it beads from the top of my head, the steam...... it's very relaxing.

Side note: for extra points, take a radio in and put on a relaxation soundtrack. I choose this one.

Disgusting.

Would you lick anywhere inside your shower? Then why would you put your toothbrush -- an object that is intended to touch all around your mouth -- anywhere inside the shower, the place that gets splattered with dirt/grime/mildew/oils?

And brushing your teeth while showering doesn't save time, it might even take longer because you have the hot water to relax you and you're certainly wasting at least 10x the amount of water.

- Turn shower on
- Body wash muh body
- Sit down, plug the drain, turn up the heat
- Relax for a minute while it fills and the skin on my face gets steamed
- Shave, using the half filled tub to shake my razor clean in the water
- Unplug drain, and if I have time.. sit and relax for a while
- Stand up and rinse

Feels good man.

I've brushed my teeth in the shower before.. I'd never keep it in the shower.. and the toothbrush never touches anything but my mouth and the running water... I'm not exactly sure what you guys are envisioning or why that's gross.

Well I'm assuming he showers once a day and brushes his teeth multiple times a day..log would suggest the toothbrush isn't likely to be stored in the shower.

You hold your toothbrush in your hand the whole time?

You hold it when you get in > brush > get out, soaking wet > put toothbrush in proper location?

Even if you could reach your toothbrush in its normal location from your shower, it's still a huge waste of water.

The times I've done it.. my girlfriend handed it to me.. then I handed it back to her. But yeah, I can reach my medicine cabinet where the toothbrush and toothpaste are stored.

I would never set my toothbrush down in the shower.

I forgot to add to my daily routine.. that while I'm showering, my girlfriend puts a towel, a pair of boxer briefs and socks, and my shirt.. all in the dryer... and she's standing there with the hot towel waiting for me when I open the shower drape thing.

Waste water? check
Waste energy warming clothes? check
Feels good man wearing fresh out of the dryer mantees and socks every morning? check

I'm sorry earth.
