I just had a solid Sin & Punishment 2 sitting.
The game runs flawlessly compared to the last time I tried it (during 3.0 or 3.5).
No framerate dips, 4K res, pure shmup goodness, fuck that was fun.
I find that I get slowdowns even when it states 100% speed.
Would you mind posting your setting please?
This is such a dumb question, and I'm sorry for asking it. I can't find an answer.
So I've got WW up and running, but it's obviously a 4:3 game. Is there any way to get it to run in widescreen without looking really stretched?
I realize the answer is probably "nah" but I thought I'd ask anyways. I tried forcing it to 16:9 and enabling widescreen hack but it looks pretty distorted.

Thanks. I think it's fixed now? I'm going cross eyed staring at the screen for so long.

I am interested in an answer too. Do we have a configuration file for Resi 4 Wii Edition ? I can't wait to lay a finger or two on it.Trying to play Resident Evil 4 and the audio keeps crackling. Running out of ideas.
Here are my specs:

My video card is up-to-date and I have tried editing the config ini file for RE4. I'm at chapter 2-1 (cabin fight) and the game runs at 21fps on average which I wouldn't mind too much if the audio weren't unbearable. Please help?
I decided to give 4.0 a shot this morning but it's performing worse than 3.5. I noticed there's no way to select DX9 in the graphics tab which was gave me better performance in 3.5. Is this no longer an option in 4.0?

I7 930 2.8ghz (plan to overclock after I can afford a nicer heatsink)
16gb of ram
GTX 570
I could run Mario Galaxy 2, Rhythm Heaven, and Epic Yarn just fine. Now, they all run choppy and slow.
Question: Where are you guys getting your games? Are you using the discs that you have and somehow ripping them to your computer?

Yes, rip the discs using a wii with homebrew.
Yiss. I use Cleanrip via the HBC to backup my games to an external hdd which I then transfer over to my main hdd.
I'm certain there are other ways besides this one to backup a game legally but this method is what I use.
edit: beaten
Do you guys know if this would work? I have quite a few Wii games that I'd love to try with Dolphin.Yiss. I use Cleanrip via the HBC to backup my games to an external hdd which I then transfer over to my main hdd.

Are you using 4.0 or a development version? 4.0 still has support for the DX9 backend (although it's marked as deprecated) while it's been taken out of the latest development builds altogether.
After a somewhat large delay we're releasing a 4.0.1 release with single core crashes fixed and some other bugfixes.
Changes:
Fixed single core mode crashes in 64 bit Windows builds
Fixed missing music in Super Monkey Ball 2
Added missing DirectX runtime installer files
Fixed some graphics issues for Metroid: Other M, Skies of Arcadia and Call of Duty: Black Ops
Fixed various other minor issues
At the time of writing we only have compiled Windows builds. OS X and Linux users will have to compile the source themselves (stable branch, 4.0.1 tag) or stay with their current build. The Windows installers can be grabbed from our downloads page: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
Note that Windows users should uninstall Dolphin 4.0 before installing the update due to some changes to the installer. All future Dolphin versions will be installed into "Program Files/Dolphin" now, whereas the 4.0 release still used "Program Files/Dolphin 4.0".
What sound method are you using?Even with the latest version the audio is cracking slightly while playing Xenoblade. Any fix for this? I have an i7 so it's not a specs issue.

Mind you LLE and HLE both worked for me if I recall, so I don't know why either wouldn't work.
Is there a way to remove copy flags from wi-fi protected saves with Dolphin? I backed up my Mario Kart Wii save from my Wii, but my Wii U won't let me transfer the save from the SD card no matter what, and I don't want to do a system transfer because I'd like to keep my Shop Channel account on the Wii.
Maybe backup the NAND on the wii? Do a systrm transfer then restore the NAND on your wii. That's what I did and now my wii and wii u both have duplicates of the same saves. As an extra bonus I was able to load up my NAND on dolphin too which transferred all of my saves to my PC too.
I have a decent spec (i5 4430, 5770) that runs everything just fine. But there's a small but noticeable audio delay in all games I've tested, both Wii and GC, that I can't get rid of - in fact I just managed to make it worse by using the other audio options.
Is it just me? Or should I get used to it?
I have a question - How come PCSX2 manages to remove 30 fps frame limit from many games where as you're stuck with whatever frame rate is default in dolphin?
I've got 4.0, but it's still running a lot slower than 3.5 with every game I've tested. I've had to change the graphics API to Open GL for every game and even then, the audio and game stutters quite. 3.5 is damn near flawless for me. The only game I had trouble with in 3.5 was DKCR and that was just audio glitches. I guess I'll just stick with that. I'm curious why I'm having such issues though.
thought this is about the android browser
What are the system requirements for this?

Average:
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 6000+
GPU: ATI HD3650
Good:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955
GPU: Nvidia 8800GT
Excellent:
CPU: Intel i5-2500k
GPU: AMD HD6850

Will any bluetooth adapter that works on PC allow me to using my Wii mote/sensor?
Here's a list I found that helped me pick one out a few weeks ago: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_Working_Bluetooth_Devices
I had gone to Best Buy about a year ago for a bluetooth dongle and they only sell their house brand one (Rocketfish I think), and I had to download some Toshiba trial drivers to get it to work. They would expire every month and were a pain to install so I finally went out and got another one at a Frys that worked. (I actually bought 2 just in case and returned the one I didn't need).
The one I got is a little picky about how to sync the remote up. You have to have Dolphin open and hit "Refresh" on the Wii Remote menu, THEN connect the Remote to my PC. You'll feel it rumble when it pairs properly.
Um, because it doesn't? The only way to improve a game's framerate from 30 to 60 is by hacking the memory address that tells the game to limit the fps to 30. The only games I know of where this is possible are the Kingdom Hearts games.
I think you're getting confused by the fact that PCSX2 and Dolphin performance is reported differently. Dolphin displays the actual framerate, while PCSX2 displays the refresh rate. So on PCSX2, just because it says 60, that doesn't mean the game is actually running at 60 frames per second. It just means that the emulator is running at full speed.
Sorry that you are banned. I wanted to say thanks.Try these settings:
[Config ]
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
Framelimit: Auto
JIT Recompiler
DSP HLE emulation
XAudio2
[Graphics]
Dx11
Fullscreen resolution: Auto
Aspect Ratio: Auto
Use Fullscreen
Show FPS
Hide Mouse Cursor
Internal Resolution: x2/2.5/3 (depends on gpu)
Anti-Aliasing: None
Anisotrophic Filtering: 1x or 16x
Scaled EFB Copy
Skip EFB Access from CPU
Ignore Format Changes
EFB Copies -- Texture
Texture Cache -- Fast
External Frame Buffer -- Disable
OpenMP Texture Decoder
Fast Depth Calculation
I bought one without paying much attention and it worked. I must say though, I need to synchronize my wiimote at least ten times before I get it hooked to the PC. Don't know if it has anything to do with the dongle quality. Will any bluetooth adapter that works on PC allow me to using my Wii mote/sensor?
