Do we know what comparable settings the PS4 version is running at ?
What's your CPU? I have a 970 (the asus one) too and it runs great now.
does anyone know how to disable Motion blur, i dont like that effect at all.
So I was finally able to get some quality time with the game, and man...those cutscenes...has anyone found any solution for the massive stuttering on the cutscenes?
I added the command line parameters to unlock the framerate on them, could that be causing it?
Mostly high, biggest difference is quality of water according to a dev.

Consoles run at 30 fps though?
Mostly high my ass. The level of pop in on the Xbone beta is just not something you see on the PC until you get to medium/low settings.
Everything ultra/highest except MSAA ; 60fps lock
Everything ultra/highest plus MSAA ; 55fps average, 43 FPS minimum
Which route should I go?

Crack not out as of now. How's Denuvo holding up? This looks like the first 'big' game to use it, interested to see if it's still not cracked.
I've run my system through the http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ site and pass when it comes to the mins. Here is my current system, planning on upgrading soon though..
AMD Phenom II X4 924 2.8Ghz
Windows 7 64bit
8GM Ram
Geforce GTX 560 1GB
Resolution I run is 1440 x 900
Given what I have at the moment and the latest game I was able to run pretty much on Medium/and some high was BF4 and even Hardline beta without much issue, how should I be with Dragon Age?
Any idea of what settings I might be able to get away with?
I'm close to just getting the PC version now and then upgrading in a few weeks but don't want to bother if I won't be able to run it at all.
Thanks.
Wow, the performance gain from turning off MSAA is ridiculous.
Doesn't even look that much different going from 2xMSAA to off.
I turned on MFAA in the nvidia control panel but the image quality doesn't look any different from AA being totally off. Does it not actually work for this game yet? I didn't see anything about MFAA in the nvidia experience, in fact, nvidia experience gave me an error when trying to load optimized settings :/
Also I noticed in the cut scenes looking at MSI afterburner, my GPU usage is down in the mid 40's % even so far as to down into the single digit usage so I'm not surprised that the frame rate is tanking.
Any idea why this could be happening? The GPU usage when actually playing is 80% or higher and locked @ 60fps otherwise.
Cutscenes cap framerate to 30, unless you add some command-lines to force 60+.Also I noticed in the cut scenes looking at MSI afterburner, my GPU usage is down in the mid 40's % even so far as to down into the single digit usage so I'm not surprised that the frame rate is tanking.

"Wanna know average number of times parts of exe code are fcked around between RAM and HDD in the span of one hour? 150000 copy/write iterations. That's about 10000 times more than usual. DRM constantly decrypts the game code into the memory and encrypts it back. This is the most bull**** usage of encryption software I've ever stumbled upon. And even though code chunks are quite small (couple of kilobytes per go at worst), they are all stored in one memory block. And playing the game for 4-8 hours(depends on SSD quality) means that you can say goodbye to that block." Source:http://www.rpgcodex.....5#post-3599880[1]
So check your install folder for Origin games. You might want to switch over to your hard disk drive with spinning iron plates instead of sacrificing the life of your solid state drive too early. Denuvo is also used by "Lords of the Fallen" and FIFA 15 so far. I think a lot of games will follow.
Saw this on reddit about the Denuvo protection:

This one is not proven so far, signs point to bogus.
So much flickering on my 3-Titan SLI setup. Even with the new drivers. So depressing.![]()

* Legend:-
Gray: Technically impossible
Red: Possible but with great performance hit
Yellow: Best for Medium settings (assuming 1080p resolution)
Light green: Best for High settings (1080p)
Dark green: Best for Ultra settings (1080p)
where the fuck is my i5 4690k?![]()
It's definitely up there in dark green area. @_@
am I blind? I only see 4670k
What I mean is, your 4670k is somewhere in the Core i 4xxx which all of them are in dark green area.
I still don't have the option for Mantle. I have a 7950 with Catalyst 14.9. I've tried a re-install of drivers, including a total clean out; but the option is still greyed out. Any ideas as to what I could be missing?

It's running pretty well. Constant 60FPS with minor stutters during exploration, but closing Afterburner and Rivatuner seems to have fixed that. I'm now at a boss battle during the prologue and while it's a bit stuttery, it's nothing too extreme. However, the thing that's beginning to get frustrating is that the game keeps freezing at this point.I've played that battle like three-four times already and never got to finish it.@ the Temple of Sacred Ashes
It's a fun boss battle, but it's not that fun.
I don't have a lot of PC knowledge, still kinda new to the scene, so figuring out how (and if possible) to fix this has been a real pain. I'll try doing a clean videodriver re-install next.
If anyone has any other idea's, i'm all ears.![]()
For me, it seemed to work with the 14.11 betas (#2 seems the recommended version for DAI).
[after install, reboot, go into the catalyst control center -> information->software and double-check that the 'catalyst version' is what you expect it to be]
