Similar sentiment was held during the Wii U's launch period and we thought DQX would appear to fill up the West's first/second year...
Yeah, and that Rocket Slime game on the 3DS.

?If NX will get the PS4 version then localizing it would be pointless, it will get destroyed in sales in the west.

Are the 3DS and next-gen versions the same game, or different?
Oh yeah, I wasn't presuming about localization.I'm confident we will get 11 on ps4 in the West, but I'm not sure we will see the 3ds one, unless 7/8 come to whet the appetite first.
My bad.Yeah, I know. As someone who follows MC threads still going to be amazing to watch when it drops.
Lots of pages for a game that probably won't even make it to the west
I'm really curious as to why they advertise the plot being similar to Ni No Kuni?
Translation and localization aren't the same thing, unless they just do a digital release or something. But then, the localization will already be done, right?
Unreal Engine 4 saving Square Enix

PS4 version seems really early, yet it's no further from release than the 3DS version?
UE3 was garbage. UE4 is incredibly versatile though. I'm also glad that Japanese developers are realising thatConsidering that Unreal Engine 3 looked pretty darn good for The Last Remnant on PC, I'm glad SE finally comes to the realization that they don't always need to make their own engine for their HD games. Still excited to see the full potential of Luminous Engine though.
I'm betting Square will publish it for PS4 themselves. Nintendo will have to publish the 3DS version.so best case scenario, Nintendo will publish it for 3DS and NX, I am not sure if sony might want to publish it for PS4

Vita has been long gone bro. I haven't touched mine in ages. That legacy platform feels.
I'll be picking this up on both platforms.
Isnt the vita getting heroes 2 and builders?
3DS version looking like everything I ever hoped for. Sprites and turns aplenty! Also the NX version means I don't need to buy a console dongle from Sony. Huzzah!
That is exactly why this is so funny.Unless Square-Enix really didn´t wanted to have bad blood with nintendo.
They seem to have a ton of assets alreadyPS4 version seems really early, yet it's no further from release than the 3DS version?
I wouldn't call it the biggest hurdle, packaging and licensing costs should be nothing to scoff at either.Isn't translation the biggest hurdle when localizing, though?

Wait for a localization announcement before you celebrate the game being on a region locked console.
