This whole women in video game thing get's way out of hand. If they wanna make a big chested Wizard then just let them, wow.

The Art Style of this game is phenomenal. The Amazon is an Amazon, that's a tribe of women, and just like a tribe of any kind they don't think much of clothes the way we do, so that's alright I guess? And if the Wizard wants to show her boobs to half the mankind and monsters then let her.

I don't get the point, someone write a big post for me to read telling me how ignorant I am and why it is so bad, so I can understand this hatred, please. I beg you guys, please.

I get what you're saying but Im not wondering why it happens nor will the reasons make me like the design. It's just a choice that I dont dig. I dont like extremely exaggerated bouncing boobs on my videogames under pretty much any excuse. I think there's a way around this that still stays true to the character without having to make a part of the audience uncomfortable or feeling like they're playing a porn game.

Oh, surely. Most of Kamitani's designs in games really are "subdued" compared to what's on display here, and even when they're trying to be "sexy", or "badass", they're nowhere near as crazy, especially not with playable characters. I do love the fact that this doesn't look like "Muramasa: THE BEU!", but more like a chance to get to play his normal boss characters... while he goes even CRAZIER in making even BIGGER boss characters! But beyond that...

...I think we're seeing just as much "culture clash" here, as we are "clash of taste".

I do think the fact that the exaggeration is so widely spread, and placed on EVERYTHING in this game, sets it apart from the "Pandering Near Pornography" that you find in many works today. Anyone who looks at this longer than a minute should be able to see there's MUCH more than "Haha, gelatinous watermellon/meatbun bouncing funbags!" going on here...

Still, I personally think it's quite unfortunate for artist to have such strong sexual "suggestiveness" in their works, because I do think it cheapens the overall presentation, and shrinks the "positive" audience. But many artist live by the "Good art forces a reaction: if people don't feel uneasy or stirred by you art in some way, they your work isn't any good at all!" style of thinking. Going by that way of thinking, I think Kamitani is much more skilled and thoughtful than most, and I think I'd do him a disservice by thinking his lush work ultimately amounted to 2 obvious things.

The US site lists him as being slow but powerful. They note that he runs the risk of getting surrounded since he's slow. But he has the ability to pick up enemies and throw them at others to knock back a pack, so I guess that makes up for it. The Amazon is supposed to gain speed and strength as she do more damage.

I don't think that it's been updated since Atlus took it over.

The site details how each play and how difficult each are to use. The Fighter is the beginner character and it appears the the Elf (the best class) is the most difficult to use.

I'm not entirely sure where you're going with the second part, I didn't bring up 'you' because of grammar. Whether you like it or not, responding to a single subject meant you were creating an analogy. I'm not going to tell you to take a whole course on logic, but look up loaded questions, begging the question and association fallacy when you have the time.

Same here. I have a wife and kids and I would never play something like this around them. However, this game isn't aimed at families, it's aimed at another group.

I will be passing on this, which is a shame, since I love beatem-ups, like the old Dungeon & Dragon's games. It's ultimately a poor design decision, since niche games have a hard enough time drawing in large audiences as it is, but to add in unnecessary like this is just silly.

At first I was bothered by the proportions of the sorceress, but I got over it. Everyone's proportions are unrealistic and stylized. Plus, with the game in motion, you're not really paying attention to her chest and like some other people had already said, I don't really find her oversized chest "sexy".

Overall, the game looks amazing and I can't wait to play it.
