Dreamcast Nightmare: THE BEATLES: ROCK BAND Releasing on 09.09.09

Please, no.

EDIT: Well, wait. If that means we get Lennon solo stuff too than it would be worth it.

I wouldn't really want either. I have no problem with the track number, adding other bands to a game like this risks being forced and cheesy.

What material do you think the disc and case are made of?
Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.
It's getting hard to be someone but it all works out.
It doesn't matter much to me.

BIG BUBBA

Did I mention it's time to cancel my Ratchet and Clank preorder yet?
To those of you bashing McCartney's solo output, are you actually familiar with it? Or do you just know goofy songs like "We All Stand Together" (intended for children) and "Silly Love Songs" (intentionally poking fun at his reputation)? Because Ram, Band on the Run, Chaos in Creation in the Backyard... they [and many more of his albums] are legitimately brilliant.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NbOWIC9hGU "Back Seat of My Car" is a Brian Wilson-esque masterpiece.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEvLQVsSR2I "Monkberry Moon Delight" features some truly insane rock vocals.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwH0or-RnEc "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five" is a fantastic piano-driven closer to BOTR.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36dtjxUMWdM "Jenny Wren" is simply a beautiful ballad in the style of Blackbird.

I could go on for hours, really. People write him off based on a couple of silly songs, which is really a shame. He's one of the greatest living songwriters, and I'd take his solo material over John's any day (Plastic Ono Band and Imagine are good, Double Fantasy is decent, but the rest are pretty awful).

edit: And I'm not going to stick around in here to defend Paul, because it always just seems like a waste of time and I end up coming across as a lunatic. If you're willing to give his music a chance, though, shoot me a PM and I'll tell you what to check out.

Btw. Did Sega ever say anything about the rumors of a Dreamcast2?
The put a contract out on Yu Suzuki for thinking about telling someone about DC2. They won't announce it until September 8th. SURPRISE ATTACK

Not really. If it's the "journey" they promise I don't see how it can't be an odd fit.
I disagree, if it's the major moments of the Beatles career then a song like Twist and Shout which they played at the royal command performance, seems like an obvious inclusion, in fact, it'd be a glaring omission if not included.

The Beatles doing a cover is fine. I just don't want other bands doing covers of Beatles songs. Basically, nothing that requires RB to break the fiction by having generic rockers in the game.
