whoever said it might be on to sumthin, DQIX on PS2 would be the best choice and a later, after subsequent sufficient DQ ports to Wii, they could port DQIX to Wii as well... that way Sony won't hold any grudge and Nintendo won't curse them. lol

also, why come all the other Japan-based NeoGAFfers don't jump on the Japanese publication news blowout thread train(s)? seems to only ever be duckroll and Jonnyram. :p

Well, 34/40 for FFIII...it´s a Square-Enix-RPG, not something great as a Namco-RPG.
Still good, though, i think.
And dont compare the scores to Children of Mana...so Nintendogs is better than all the other games?

jj984jj

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
What did they say? Are there any load times?

:lol @ people comparing Famitsu scores.

Final Fantasy XII got 40/40 :lol

Ok so they get it right every once in a while, but even if it had sucked SquareEnix would have paid them to give it 9/9/9/9 at least.

Thanks Bo :) That's not a bad run for S-E is it...not bad at all. I AM slightly surprised FFIII couldn't at least match CoM's score, but us reviewers can be weird folk at times...

Will this have any bearing on FFIII's sales? Hmm, if so, it won't be an adverse effect.

well Castlevania DoS is not even a top5 game according to famitsu, so I don't really go after their scores.

Ape Escape Racer has been on the SCEE release shedule since some weeks ago. It's a PSP game (altought I don't know if it will be also released on the PS2). It's expected for this fall in Europe.

It's only WIN because it's a complete port of Slash on the PSP as well. I doubt the actual Judgement mode of the game is any good. :D

Judgement mode will be excellent, because ASW can do no wrong while whoring this series to death.

Rest of famitsu scores it seems...

Wrestle Angel: Survivor (PS2, Success): 6 / 5 / 5 / 5 - (21/40)
_summer ## (PS2, GN Software): 5 / 6 / 5 / 4 - (20/40)

So this is just last years Battle Tactics (which was solid), *upgraded*.. without freaking online play again (argh.. PSP developers just don't get it) !! Anyway, should I fear this BEC.. ?!

Pretty cool, looks like a PS2 game but it is Harvest Moon after all... the graphics for those games are always pretty damn meh. I hope they change up the formula enough, they've basically released the same exact game 50 times now soo... it'd be nice if the Wii helped them attempt this. But we'll probably be stuck washing cows with the power of motion control :<

So, since you can read it... anything that tells you otherwise?

More Info please. I like Fire Emblem and SRW, so I hope this one play like them (turn based, not real-time based).

That's accurate. The controller icons on the screen tell you how you can use the controller at any given time. You move around and talk to people like in any other Harvest Moon game. Except now with the power of motion control you can flower plants and sow seeds! WOOOO! :(

I knew it. Another game forcefully shoved around the poor thing.

Ah well, I guess it's the latest Harvest Moon game to avoid. Seriously, there's so many ways to expand this series... wonder why they haven't even thought of these things.
